Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media Sibersites (Situs Interaktif berbasis Google Sites) materi tata surya untuk meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik kelas VI SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Uji coba skala kecil menggunakan desain one-group pretest-posttest dengan subjek berjumlah 17 peserta didik dan uji coba skala besar menggunakan desain control group pretest-posttest dengan subjek berjumlah 40 peserta didik (20 peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan 20 peserta didik kelas kontrol). Instrumen penelitian, terdiri atas: (1) instrumen validasi menggunakan lembar validasi media yang diisi tiga validator ahli; (2) instrumen kepraktisan menggunakan lembar keterlaksanaan dan lembar angket guru dan peserta didik; (3) instrumen keefektifan menggunakan tes. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan validasi, observasi, tes, dan angket.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas media Sibersites memperoleh persentase kevalidan sebesar 89% yang artinya termasuk dalam kategori valid. Kepraktisan media Sibersites yang ditinjau dari isian angket guru dan peserta didik memperoleh 97% yang artinya termasuk dalam kategori praktis. Analisis keefektifan media Sibersites dari hasil analisis N-Gain dua kelompok yaitu 0,73 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dibuktikan juga dengan skor Cohen's Size Effect senilai 1,61 atau 94,5% artinya efektif meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa media Sibersites pada materi tata surya dikatakan sangat layak, praktis dan efektif meningkatkan literasi sains peserta didik. The purpose of this study was to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Cybersites media (Google Sites-based Interactive Site) of the solar system material to improve the science literacy of grade VI elementary school students. This study used the Research and Development method and the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. Small-scale trials used a one-group pretest-posttest design with 17 students as subjects and large-scale trials used a control group pretest-posttest design with 40 students as subjects (20 students in the experimental class and 20 students in the control class). The research instruments consisted of: (1) validation instruments using media validation sheets filled in by three expert validators; (2) practicality instruments using implementation sheets and teacher and student questionnaire sheets; (3) effectiveness instruments using tests. Data collection methods were carried out by validation, observation, tests, and questionnaires.
The results of the study showed that the validity of the Sibersites media obtained a validity percentage of 89%, which means it is included in the valid category. The practicality of the Sibersites media reviewed from the teacher and student questionnaires obtained 97%, which means it is included in the practical category. The analysis of the effectiveness of the Sibersites media from the results of the N Gain analysis of two groups, namely 0.73, which is included in the high category, is also proven by the Cohen's Size Effect score of 1.61 or 94.5%, meaning it is effective in increasing students' scientific literacy. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the Sibersites media on the solar system material is said to be very feasible, practical and effective in increasing students' scientific literacy.
