PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KARTU KUARTET CIRI-CIRI KHUSUS HEWAN BAGI SISWA KELAS VI SEKOLAH DASAR
DEVELOPMENT OF ANIMAL CHARACTERISTICS QUARTET LEARNING MEDIA FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL VI GRADE STUDENTS
Guru memiliki keterlibatan penting untuk menghidupkan suasana kelas yang aktif dan menarik. Hal ini dapat difasilitasi dengan adanya pengembangan sebuah media pembelajaran yang mampu membuat siswa terlibat aktif sehingga pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan optimal. Peneliti mengembangkan media pembelajaran kartu kuartet ciri-ciri khusus hewan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari media melalui tiga aspek, yaitu validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Pengembangan media dilakukan dengan tahapan ADDIE. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, angket respon guru, angket respon siswa dan butir-butir tes. Kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini dilakukan pada 20 siswa kelas VI B SDN Jambangan I/413 Surabaya dalam uji coba terbatas dan 36 siswa kelas VI A SDN Jambangan I/413 Surabaya dalam uji coba skala besar. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut diperoleh persentase hasil kevalidan media sebesar 90% dan kevalidan materi sebesar 96% dengan kategori valid tanpa revisi. Hasil persentase kepraktisan dari angket respon siswa sebesar 94,3% pada uji coba terbatas dan 91,3% pada uji coba skala besar. Kemudian perolehan persentase dari angket respon guru sebesar 98% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Sedangkan keefektifan media diperoleh dari analisis N-Gain rerata pretest dan posttest uji skala besar memperoleh skor persentase sebesar 0,502 dengan kategori peningkatan sedang. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat dinyatakan bahwa kartu kuartet ciri-ciri khusus hewan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi ciri-ciri khusus hewan.

The teacher has an important involvement to liven up an active and interesting classroom atmosphere. This can be facilitated by the development of a learning media that is able to make students actively involved so that teaching and learning activities can be optimal. The researcher developed a quartet card learning media with special characteristics of animals which aims to determine the frasibility of media with special through three aspects, namely validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Media development is carried out with the ADDIE stage. The research instruments used were validation sheets, students response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires and test items. Then the data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The subject of this research was conducted on 20 students VI B at SDN Jambangan I/413 Surabaya for small class trial and 36 students in class VI A at SDN Jambangan I/413 Surabaya in a large scale trial. Based on this research, it was obtained that the percentage of validity of the media was 90% and the validity of the material was 96% with the valid category without revision. The results of the practicality percentage of the student response questionnaire were 94.3% in small class trial and 91.3% in large-scale trials. Then the percentage obtained from the teacher's response questionnaire was 98% with very practical criteria. Meanwhile the effectiveness of the media is obtained from the N-Gain analysis, the average pretest and posttest of the large-scale trials obtains a percentage score of 0.502 with the moderate improvement category. Based on this research, it can be stated that the quartet cards with special characteristics of animals are suitable for use as learning media in the material about special characteristics of animals.
