Pengaruh Flash Card Berbasis Augmented Reality Terhadap Kompetensi Sains Siswa Kelas 5 SD
The Effect of Augmented Reality-Based Flash Cards on the Science Competence of 5th Grade Elementary School Students
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kompetensi sains siswa sekolah dasar pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia akibat penggunaan media pembelajaran yang masih konvensional dan kurang interaktif. Materi yang bersifat abstrak menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami konsep organ dan mekanisme pernapasan serta masih ditemukan miskonsepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media flash card berbasis Augmented Reality terhadap kompetensi sains siswa kelas V pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia serta membandingkan hasil belajar dengan penggunaan media konvensional. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experiment. Kelas eksperimen dilaksanakan di SDN Sidotopo Wetan V Surabaya, sedangkan kelas kontrol di SDN Tanah Kali Kedinding 2 Surabaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, N-Gain, dan Independent Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media flash card berbasis Augmented Reality memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi sains siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Visualisasi tiga dimensi yang interaktif membantu siswa memahami konsep abstrak sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, bermakna, dan efektif. Dengan demikian, media ini layak dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran sains di sekolah dasar, khususnya pada materi yang bersifat abstrak.

This research is motivated by the low scientific competence of elementary school students on the human respiratory system material due to the use of conventional and less interactive learning media. The abstract material causes students to have difficulty understanding the concept of organs and respiratory mechanisms and still found misconceptions. This study aims to determine the effect of using Augmented Reality-based flashcard media on the scientific competence of fifth-grade students on the human respiratory system material and compare learning outcomes with the use of conventional media. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The experimental class was conducted at SDN Sidotopo Wetan V Surabaya, while the control class was at SDN Tanah Kali Kedinding 2 Surabaya. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity, N-Gain, and Independent Sample t-test. The results showed that Augmented Reality-based flashcard media had a positive effect on improving students' scientific competence. The improvement in learning outcomes in the experimental class was higher than in the control class. Interactive three-dimensional visualizations help students understand abstract concepts so that learning becomes more interesting, meaningful, and effective. Thus, this media is worthy of being used as an alternative science learning in elementary schools, especially on abstract material.
