PENGARUH PERMAINAN TRADISIONAL PETAK UMPET MODIFIKASI TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL SISWA TUNAGRAHITA RINGAN KELAS VII DI SLB AL-FALAH SEMBAYAT GRESIK

Anak tunagrahita ringan memiliki hambatan pada keterampilan sosial yang meliputi interaksi sosial, kerja sama, dan patuh terhadap aturan sehingga perlu ditingkatkan. Dalam penelitian ini keterampilan sosial anak tunagrahita ringan dapat ditingkatkan melalui permainan tradisional petak umpet modifikasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh permainan tradisional petak umpet modifikasi terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa tunagrahita ringan kelas VII di SLB Al-Falah Sembayat Gresik.
Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pre experimental jenis one-group pre-test post-test. Jumlah subyek penelitian sebanyak 6 siswa tunagrahita ringan. Rata-rata hasil pre-test 53,12 dan rata-rata hasil post-test 81,24 dengan pemberian intervensi sebanyak 8 kali di dalam kelas dan di luar kelas. Simpulan hasil penelitian H nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis kerja (Ha) diterima, Z hitung (Zh) = 2,20 lebih besar dari Z tabel (Zt) = 1,96 dengan = 5 %. Berarti terdapat pengaruh permainan tradisional petak umpet modifikasi terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa tunagrahita ringan.

Mild mentally retardation children had hindrance in social skill including social interaction, cooperation, and obeying toward rules so that they required to be enhanced. In this research, the social skill of mild mentally retardation children could be enhanced through traditional game of hide and seek modification. This research purpose was to observe the influence of traditional game of hide and seek modification toward social skill of mild mentally retardation students class VII in SLB Al-Falah Sembayat Gresik.
The research arrangement used pre-experimental of one-group pre-test post-test kind. The amount of research subjects were 6 mild mentally retardation students. The average result of pre-test was 53,12 and the average result of post-test was 81,24 by giving intervention 8 times inside class and outside class. The conclusion of the research result was that null H (Ho) was refused and alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, Z counted (Zh) = 2,20 was greater than Z table (Zt) = 1,96 with α = 5%. It meant that there was influence of traditional game of hide and seek modification toward social skill of mild mentally retardation students.
