Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Teaching Factory dalam Meningkatkan Karakter Wirausaha Siswa SMK
The Effectiveness of the Teaching Factory Learning Model in Improving the Entrepreneurial Character of Vocational High School Students
Teaching Factory merupakan model pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan struktur dasar sekolah untuk menciptakan suasana industrial di sekolah guna meningkatkan kemampuan mata pelajaran produktif bagi siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1). Mengetahui implementasi penggunaan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory di SMK; 2). Mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Teaching Factory dalam meningkatkan karakter wirausaha siswa SMK. Penelitian ini tergolong dalam jenis penelitian literature review yang melakukan penelitian dengan cara mencari teori relevan dengan permasalahan maupun kasus yang akan dipaparkan. Sumber literatur yang digunakan yaitu mengkaji tentang penggunaan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis data sekunder yang bersumber dari 6 jurnal penelitian terdahulu. Hasil penelitian literature review menunjukkan: 1). Implementasi penggunaan model pembelajaran teaching factory di SMK telah berhasil dengan hasil rata-rata keseluruhan 77% ; 2). Penggunaan model pembelajaran Teaching Factory efektif dalam meningkatkan karakter wirausaha siswa SMK. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil penelitian beberapa peneliti terdahulu yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai siswa dalam setiap aspek karakter wirausaha setalah diterapkan model pembelajaran Feaching Factory. Sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan model Teaching Factory memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan karakter wirausaha siswa SMK.

Teaching Factory is a learning model that utilizes the basic structure of the school to create an industrial atmosphere in schools in order to increase the ability of productive subjects for students. The aims of this research are: 1). Knowing the implementation of the use of the Teaching Factory learning model in SMK; 2). Knowing the effectiveness of the Teaching Factory learning model in improving the entrepreneurial character of vocational students. This research belongs to the type of literature review research that conducts research by looking for theories relevant to the problems and cases that will be presented. The literature source used is to examine the use of the Teaching Factory learning model. The data collection carried out in this study used secondary data types sourced from 6 previous research journals. The results of the literature review research show: 1). The implementation of the teaching factory learning model in SMK has been successful with an overall average result of 77%; 2). The use of the Teaching Factory learning model is effective in improving the entrepreneurial character of vocational students. This can be seen from the results of research by several previous researchers who showed an increase in student scores in every aspect of the entrepreneurial character after the Feaching Factory learning model was applied. So it can be concluded that the use of the Teaching Factory model has an influence in improving the entrepreneurial character of vocational students.
