Implementasi Kurikulum IB menuntut perubahan mendasar pada budaya dan mutu sekolah, yang memerlukan kepemimpinan efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peran dan strategi kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dalam proses tersebut. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan desain studi kasus multi-situs di dua SD Cita Hati Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepala sekolah menerapkan kepemimpinan transformasional untuk membangun budaya sekolah kolaboratif dan inovatif. Peningkatan mutu spesifik terlihat pada kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri dan konsistensi penerapan standar IB. Disimpulkan bahwa praktik kepemimpinan transformasional adalah faktor kunci pembentuk budaya dan penjamin mutu implementasi kurikulum. Disarankan agar pemimpin sekolah lain mengadopsi strategi serupa dalam mengelola perubahan. Implementing the IB Curriculum necessitates fundamental changes in school culture and quality, demanding effective leadership. This research aims to analyze the role and strategies of transformational leadership by school principals in this process. This qualitative study employed a multi-site case study design at two Cita Hati Elementary Schools in Surabaya. The research findings indicate that principals applied transformational leadership to foster a collaborative and innovative school culture. Specific quality improvements were observed in teachers' competency in inquiry-based learning and consistent adherence to IB standards. It is concluded that transformational leadership practices are a key factor in shaping school culture and ensuring the quality of curriculum implementation. It is recommended that other school leaders adopt similar strategies in managing change.
