IMPLEMENTATION OF VOCATIONAL SCHOOL REVITALIZATION PROGRAMS IN EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF GRADUATION IN SMK

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterlaksanaan program revitalisasi SMK, dimana keterlaksanaan tersebut dilihat dari beberapa aspek dan indikator. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei dengan sampel sekolah yang sudah ditentukan dari Direktorat PSMK,  diantaranya SMKN 3 Buduran, SMKN PP Negeri 1 Tegalampel Bondowoso, SMKN 1 Cerme. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa dari 6 aspek dan 35 indikator yang ada, program yang sudah dilaksanakan oleh SMK Negeri 3 Buduran, SMK Negeri PP Tegalampel Bondowoso, dan SMK Negeri 1 Cerme antara lain adalah aspek pertama, yaitu pengembangan dan penyelarasan kurikulum dengan indikator penyelarasan kurikulum dengan perkembangan DU/DI. Aspek kedua, yaitu kerjasama dengan DU/DI dan perguruan tinggi negeri, dengan indikator peningkatan peran industri dalam pemagangan guru dan praktik kerja industri siswa. Aspek ketiga, yaitu pemenuhan dan pengembangan profesionalitas guru dan tenaga kependidikan, dengan indikator crash program pendidikan guru berkeahlian ganda. Aspek keempat, yaitu stadarisasi sarana dan prasarana, dengan indikator peningkatan kualitas sarana dan prasarana utama laboratorium/bengkel melalui pengadaan oleh sekolah. Dan aspek kelima, yaitu inovasi pembelajaran, dengan indikator pengembangan teaching factory sebagai pusat kreatifitas dan inovasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the Vocational High School revitalization program is implemented, where the implementation is seen from several aspects and indicators. The method used in this study used a survey research method with a sample of schools that had been determined from the PSMK Directorate, including SMKN 3 Buduran, SMKN PP Negeri 1 Tegalampel Bondowoso, SMKN 1 Cerme. The results of the study explained that of the 6 existing aspects and 35 indicators, the programs that have been implemented by SMK Negeri 3 Buduran, SMK Negeri PP Tegalampel Bondowoso, and SMK Negeri 1 Cerme include the first aspect, namely the development and alignment of the curriculum with indicators of curriculum alignment with development of DU / DI. The second aspect, namely cooperation with DU / DI and state universities, with indicators of increasing the role of industry in teacher apprenticeship and student industrial work practices. The third aspect, namely the fulfillment and professional development of teachers and education personnel, with a crash indicator for dual skill teacher education programs. The fourth aspect is the standardization of facilities and infrastructure, with indicators of improving the quality of the main laboratory / workshop facilities and infrastructure through procurement by schools. And the fifth aspect, namely learning innovation, with the indicator for the development of the teaching factory as a center for creativity and innovation.
