Kondisi ideal bahwa memfasilitasi siswa dengan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, dengan meningkatkatnya motivasi belajar siswa, maka hasil belajar siswa akan dapat tercapai dengan maksimal. Pada kenyataannya kondisi riil yang terjadi di SDI Bahrul Ulum Surabaya kurang sesuai dengan kondisi ideal. Siswa pada palajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa masih belum mencapai ketuntasan hasil balajar. Siswa masih belum mencapai nilai ideal, yakni nilai 75. Dari total 2 kelas 74 siswa hanya 32% yang mencapai ketuntasan nilai ideal. Hal ini dikarenakan siswa kurang semangat mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas sehingga siswa mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran kurang maksimal. Di sekolahan tersebut belum memiliki media yang sesuai, dimana media tersebut dirancang khusus untuk mata pelajaran Bhs Indonesia materi perawatan tanaman guna untuk menungkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media berupa media gambar seri mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi perawatan tanaman yang layak digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Control Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 3 Sekolah Dasar berjumlah 74 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok masing-masing 37 siswa. Kelompok pertama dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan media gambar seri sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kedua adalah kelompok kontrol tanpa dibelajarkan dengan media gambar seri. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian diperoleh hasil kelayakan media gambar seri oleh ahli materi dan ahli media dengan kategori sangat baik sehingga media layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil uji coba perorangan memperoleh kategori penilaian sangat baik. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh hasil kategori sangat baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan media layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Sedangkan hasil eksperimen yang dilakukan setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan, motivasi siswa meningkat dan hasil belajar siswa juga meningkat. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan efektif dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar di SDI Bahrul Ulum Surabaya.

The ideal condition is that facilitating students with appropriate learning media can increase student learning motivation, by increasing student learning motivation, student learning outcomes will be maximized. In fact, the real conditions that occurred at SDI Bahrul Ulum Surabaya did not match the ideal conditions. Students in Indonesian language students still have not achieved complete learning outcomes. Students still haven't achieved the ideal score, which is a score of 75. Out of a total of 2 classes of 74 students, only 32% achieved the ideal score. This is because students are less enthusiastic about participating in learning activities in the classroom so that students participate in learning activities less optimally. The school does not yet have appropriate media, where the media is specifically designed for the Indonesian Language subject, plant care material in order to increase learning motivation and student learning outcomes.
This study aims to produce media products in the form of picture media series for Indonesian subjects, plant care materials that are appropriate to use and can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. The research method is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The experimental design used in this study was the Control Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. The research subjects were 74 students of grade 3 elementary school who were divided into two groups of 37 students each. The first group was taught using picture series media as the experimental group and the second group was the control group without being taught by picture series media. Based on the results of the study, the feasibility results of the picture series media were obtained by material experts and media experts in the very good category so that the media was suitable for use in learning activities. The results of the individual trials obtained a very good rating category. The results of the small group trial obtained the very good category. The results of the large group trial obtained very good category results. So it can be concluded that the media is suitable for use in learning activities. While the results of the experiments carried out after using the developed learning media, student motivation increased and student learning outcomes also increased. It can be concluded that the developed media is suitable for use in learning activities and can effectively increase the motivation and learning outcomes of third grade elementary school students at SDI Bahrul Ulum Surabaya.
