Penerapan Prinsip Prinsip Andragogi Untuk Meningkatkan Partisipasi Jama'ah Majelis Taklim Baitur Rohmah Desa Duran Karangpuri Kabupaten Sidoarjo.
APPLICATION OF ANDRAGOGY PRINCIPLES TO IMPROVE PARTICIPATION OF THE CONGREGATION OF THE BAITUR ROHMAH TA’LIM ASSEMBLY DURAN KARANGPURI VILLAGE SIDOARJO REGENCY.
This study aims to analyze the Application of Andragogy Principles in Increasing the Participation of the Congregation of the Baiturrahmah Ta'lim Assembly in Duran Karangpuri Village, Sidoarjo Regency. The background of the problems identified include low congregation participation, as seen from the decline in attendance from 70% in 2020 to 55% in 2023. In addition, there is a lack of active involvement during activities, as indicated by phenomena such as drowsiness or not asking questions. This indicates the need for a more effective approach to increasing congregation participation.
This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving participant observation, in-depth interviews with congregations, administrators, and tutors, and documentation studies. The selection of qualitative methods is based on the need to deeply understand the experiences and perspectives of individuals in the context of non-formal learning. With this approach, researchers can explore the nuances and complexities of social interactions that occur in the ta'lim assembly. In addition, case studies were chosen because they allow researchers to analyze specific phenomena in a limited context, so that they can provide deeper insights into the application of andragogy principles in Duran Karangpuri village. The results of the study indicate that the application of andragogy principles, such as learning needs, independence, and relevance of the material, can increase the participation of the congregation. However, there are still challenges faced, such as time constraints and passive habits of the congregation. These findings emphasize the importance of applying andragogy principles in the context of non-formal learning.
Congregation participation is influenced by several factors, including spiritual motivation, social support, and interactive learning methods. Suggestions put forward in this study include increasing schedule flexibility, use of technology, and a collaborative approach between administrators and congregants. This study is expected to contribute to the development of andragogy-based non-formal learning models in rural contexts, so that it can increase congregational participation and engagement more effectively.
