Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-book berbasis SETS untuk melatihkan literasi sains (eSL) yang layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model Hannafin & Peck dengan tiga tahapan umum yaitu penilaian kebutuhan, desain, dan pengembangan beserta implementasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalah validasi, angket, observasi, dan tes dengan subjek 23 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 di MAN Sumenep. Validitas e-book ditinjau dari aspek pembelajaran, materi, Bahasa, dan media. Kepraktisan ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan dan kendala pembelajran seta kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik berbasis proses. Keefektifan ditinjau dari hasil peningkatan literasi sains peserta didik. Semua aspek penilaian validitas, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, literasi sains berbasis proses, dan respon peserta didik menggunakan skala Likert. E-book berbasis SETS dinyatakan layak apabila persentase semua kriteria kelayakan ≥ 61,00%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) persentase rata-rata dari keempat aspek yang dinilai 84.58% termasuk dalam ketegori sangat valid 2) persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 93,50% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis dan literasi sains peserta didik berbasis proses 86,01% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik; 3) terjadi peningkatan literasi sains yang signifikan pada saat peserta didik menggunakan eSL di prose pembelajaran, dan persentase respon peserta didik 93,59% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.

This research aims to produce a SETS based e-book for appropriate scientific literacy (eSL) (valid, practical, and effective). This research is a type of development research using Hannafin & Peck's model with three general stages namely needs assessment, design, and development included implementation. Data collection techniques used were validation, questionnaires, observations, and tests with the subject of 23 science students of second year level in MAN Sumenep. The validity of e-books is reviewed from the aspects of learning, material, language and media. Practicality is seen from the implementation and learning constraints as well as the process of scientific literacy skills of students. The Effectiveness is seen from the results of increasing scientific literacy of students. All aspects of validity assessment, learning performance, process-based science literacy, and learner responses using a Likert scale. SETS-based e-book are declared feasible if the percentage of all eligibility criteria ≥ 61.00%. The results showed 1) the average percentage of the four aspects assessed 84.58% included in the category of very valid. 2) the percentage of learning accomplishments about 93.50% included in the category of very practical, and 86,01% process-based scientific literacy of students is included in the excellent category; 3) there is a significant increase in scientific literacy when students use eSL in the learning process, and the percentage of students' responses 93.59% included in the excellent category.
