The writing of this study aims to describe the
improvement of the science process skill, the implementation of the virtual
laboratory-assisted guided inquiry learning model, and student responses after
the application of the virtual laboratory-assisted guided inquiry model. The
type of research used in this study is Pre-Experimental research with One Group
Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The target of this study was grade
VIII B students at YDWP Unesa 2 Laboratory Junior High School. The results of
this study showed that the results of the analysis of students' pretest and posttest
scores experienced an increase in science process skills with N-Gain of 0.4
with moderate criteria. Based on the results of the implementation of the
virtual laboratory-assisted guided inquiry model, it reached 92% with very good
criteria. Students responded with very good criteria to the use of virtual
laboratories in learning with the average percentage of student scores
answering in the affirmative of 93.7%.
Keywords: Guided inquiry learning model, science process
