Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran, aktivitas peserta didik, kemampuan literasi sains, dan respon peserta didik kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Surabaya terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada materi kesetimbangan kimia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 3 Surabaya yang berjumlah 32 orang. Metode yang digunakan berupa metode tes dan observasi. Data yang diperoleh meliputi data keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran, aktivitas dominan peserta didik, kemampuan literasi sains, dan respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan berupa (1) perolehan rata-rata persentase keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran pada kegiatan pendahuluan, fase 1, fase 2, fase 3, fase 4, fase 5, dan kegiatan penutup, berturut-turut sebesar 88,9%, 97,2%, 97,2%, 91,7%,97,2%, 86,1%, dan 100% dengan kriteria sangat baik, (2) rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik selama tiga pertemuan menggunakan 46,9% waktu pembelajaran untuk berlatih kompetensi menjelaskan fenomena ilmiah, 22,4% waktu untuk berlatih kompetensi mengevaluasi dan merancang penyelidikan ilmiah, dan 28,0% waktu untuk berlatih menafsirkan data dan bukti ilmiah, (3) kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik mengalami peningkatan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang ditunjukkan dengan perolehan skor gain peserta didik antara lain 3,1% peserta didik termasuk kriteria rendah, 53,1% peserta didik termasuk kriteria sedang, dan 43,8% peserta didik termasuk kriteria tinggi, dan (4) peserta didik memberikan respon yang positif terhadap model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing untuk melatihkan kemampuan literasi sains pada materi kesetimbangan kimia dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 95,1% termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik.

This research aims to describe the implementation of learning models, student activities, scientific literacy ability, and students' responses to the application of guided inquiry learning models in chemical equilibrium material. The type of research used is Pre-Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The target of this research were 32 students of MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 3 Surabaya. The method used in the form of test and observation methods. The data obtained include data on the implementation of the learning model, the dominant activity of students, scientific literacy skills, and student responses. The results obtained in the form of (1) the average acquisition percentage of the implementation of learning activities in the preliminary activities, phase 1, phase 2, phase 3, phase 4, phase 5, and closing activities, respectively by 88.9%, 97, 2%, 97.2%, 91.7%, 97.2%, 86.1%, and 100% with very good criteria, (2) the average student activity during the three meetings using 46.9% learning time to practice competence to explain scientific phenomena, 22.4% of the time to practice competency evaluating and designing scientific investigations, and 28.0% of time to practice interpreting scientific data and evidence, (3) the scientific literacy ability of students has increased after the application of the inquiry learning model supervised indicated by the acquisition of learner gain scores, among others, 3.1% of students included low criteria, 53.1% of students included medium criteria, and 43.8% of students included high criteria, and (4) students give responses positive to implementation of guided inquiry learning model to train the ability of scientific literacy in chemical equilibrium with an average percentage of 95.1% included in the criteria very well.
