Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurang berkembangnya keterampilan berbicara anak kelompok A di TK Islam Al Karomah Wiyung Surabaya. Permasalahan tersebut tidak terlepas dari penggunaan metode dan media pembelajaran yang kurang tepat dalam merangsang keterampilan berbicara anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh metode bercerita menggunakan media pop up terhadap keterampilan berbicara anak.
Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dan menggunakan desain pre eksperimental design jenis one group pre test-post test design. Subyek yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 anak dengan menggunakan alat penilaian berupa observasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil analisis penelitian menggunakan uji wilcoxon sangat signifikan yaitu diketahui Asymp.sig (2-tailed) bernilai 0,000 < 0,05 maka disimpulkan Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang berarti adanya pengaruh metode bercerita menggunakan media pop up terhadap keterampilan berbicara anak kelompok A di TK Islam Al Karomah Wiyung Surabaya.

This research was motivated by the lack of development of children’s speaking ability in group A in TK Islam Al Karomah Wiyung Surabaya. These problems can’t be separated from the use of methods and learning media that are less precise in stimulating children's speaking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the storytelling method using media pop ups on children's speaking skills.
The type of research in this study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research and uses a pre experimental design type one group pre-post test design. The subjects studied in this study amounted to 20 children using an assessment tool in the form of observation.
The results showed that the results of the research analysis using the Wilcoxon test was very significant, which is known as Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) worth 0,000 <0,05. It was concluded Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, which means that there was an influence of storytelling methods using media pop up on speaking skills children A group in TK Islam Al Karomah Wiyung Surabaya.
