SELF-EFFICACY ANAK BERHADAPAN DENGAN HUKUM DI LEMBAGA PEMBINAAN KHUSUS ANAK (LPKA)

SELF-EFFICACY OF CHILDREN IN CONFLICT WITH THE LAW IN SPECIAL CHILDREN'S GUIDANCE INSTITUTIONS (LPKA)

ABSTRAK

Perkembangan perilaku di sosial media yang cenderung negatif akan cepat laku dan viral, sehingga lebih cepat diikuti oleh anak dan remaja sekarang ini. Remaja dan anak-anak yang lebih muda tetap menghadapi konsekuensi hukum atas keterlibatan mereka dalam atau melakukan tindakan kriminal, berapa pun usia mereka. Perasaan diri seorang remaja sangat penting untuk kedewasaan mereka, masalah dengan efikasi diri yang rendah dan kurang berkembang sering kali muncul dalam kehidupan anak-anak yang sedang menjalani masa binaan atau yang melanggar hukum.

Penelitian ini bertujuan; (1) untuk mengetahui profil self-efficacy rendah anak berhadapan dengan hukum di LPKA Kelas 1 Blitar. (2) untuk mengetahui profil self-efficacy tinggi anak berhadapan dengan hukum di LPKA Kelas 1 Blitar. (3) untuk mengetahui usaha anak dalam menjalani masa binaan di LPKA Kelas 1 Blitar (4) untuk mengetahui peran konselor dalam meningkatkan self-efficacy anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum di LPKA Kelas 1 Blitar. (5) untuk mengetahui self-efficacy (rasa berhasil) anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum di LPKA Kelas 1 Blitar.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan model studi lapangan, yang berlokasi di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) kelas I Blitar.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) Usaha Anak dalam menjalani masa binaan, dilakukan dengan mengikuti kegiatan dan pembinaan yang telah ditentukan. (2) Anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum menunjukkan efikasi diri yang rendah. Namun, dengan melalui pembinaan yang dilakukan oleh konselor dan petugas selama amasa pembinaan dan dukungan dan bantuan yang besar diberikan oleh teman terdekat dan keluarga, maka self efficacy mereka perlahan pulih dan meningkat. (3) Peran Konselor dalam Meningkatkan self- efficacy anak dengan membangun kembali rasa percaya diri anak binaan dalam belajar. Anak merasa tidak sendirian dalam menjalani masa binaan, dan mereka merasa mendapatkan support dari berbagai pihak, dalam menjalani masalah hukum yang menimpanya.

ABSTRACT

The development of negative behavior on social media will quickly sell and go viral, so that it is more quickly followed by children and teenagers today. Teenagers and younger children still face legal consequences for their involvement in or committing criminal acts, regardless of their age. Adolescents' sense of self is very important for their maturity, problems with low and underdeveloped self-efficacy often arise in the lives of children who are undergoing foster care or who break the law.

This study aims to; (1) to determine the low self-efficacy profile of children in conflict with the law at LPKA Class 1 Blitar. (2) to determine the high self-efficacy profile of children in conflict with the law at LPKA Class 1 Blitar. (3) to determine the efforts of children in undergoing foster care at LPKA Class 1 Blitar (4) to determine the role of counselors in increasing the self-efficacy of children in conflict with the law at LPKA Class 1 Blitar. (5) to determine the self-efficacy (sense of success) of children in conflict with the law at LPKA Class 1 Blitar.

This research is a qualitative research with a field study model, located in the Special Child Development Institution (LPKA) Class I Blitar.

The results of the study show; (1) Children's efforts in undergoing the foster period, are carried out by following the activities and guidance that have been determined. (2) Children who are in conflict with the law show low self-efficacy. However, through guidance carried out by counselors and officers during the foster period and great support and assistance provided by close friends and family, their self-efficacy slowly recovers and increases. (3) The Role of Counselors in Increasing Children's Self-efficacy by rebuilding the foster children's self-confidence in learning. Children feel that they are not alone in undergoing the foster period, and they feel that they get support from various parties, in dealing with the legal problems that befall them.
