        Perusahaan jasa konstruksi merupakan perusahaan yang sangat berperan dan mempunyai andil besar dalam pembangunan negara. Peranan perusahaan jasa konstruksi berada pada penyediaan pemukiman bagi masyarakat. Keterbatasan lahan menyediakan penyediaan pemukiman dan perusahaan konstruksi diarahkan secara vertikal atau gedung bertingkat. Satu jenis pemukiman bertingkat adalah apartemen. Pembangunan gedung bertingkat ini semakin berkembang mengikuti peningkatan banyaknya jumlah penduduk di Negara  Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu, perusahaan tersebut saling berlomba dan bersaing meningkatkan kinerja kerjanya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tempat tinggal masyarakat. Alat Pelindung Diri mempunyai pengertian sebagai peralatan yang harus dipakai saat bekerja sesuai risiko serta bahaya kerja, sehingga dapat mengendalikan  keselamatan pekerja seseorangan maupun berkelompok. Alat Pelindung diri merupakan suatu alat yang mempunyai kemampuan untuk melindungi sesorang yang fungsinya mengisolasi sebagian atau seluruh tubuh dari potensi bahaya di tempat kerja (Permenakertrans No. 8 tahun 2010). Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah perusahaan telah melakukan upaya peningkatan penerapan Alat Pelindung Diri melalui pelaksanaan manajemen penyediaan Alat Pelindung Diri. Selain itu, petugas K3 juga melaksanakan upaya penyuluhan dan pengawasan secara rutin. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada pekerja bangunan PT. Pulau Intan Baja Perkasa Konstruksi dengan menggunakan metode Job Safety, Health and Environment Analysys (JSEA).

The construction service company is a company that has a very important role and has a big role in developing the country. The role of construction service companies lies in providing housing for the community. Land limitations provide the provision of settlements and construction companies directed vertically or multi-storey buildings. One type of terraced settlement is an apartment. The construction of this multi-storey building is increasingly developing following the increasing number of population in the country of Indonesia. Therefore, these companies compete with each other and compete to improve their work performance to meet the needs of the community's residence. Personal protective equipment has the meaning as equipment that must be used when working in accordance with risks and hazards of work, so as to control the safety of individual and group workers. Personal protective equipment is a tool that has the ability to protect someone whose function is to isolate part or all of the body from potential hazards in the workplace (Permenakertrans No. 8 of 2010). The results of the research carried out are companies that have made efforts to improve the application of Personal Protective Equipment through the implementation of management of the provision of Personal Protective Equipment. In addition, K3 officers also carry out routine counseling and supervision efforts. Based on the results of research conducted on construction workers PT. Pulau Intan Baja Perkasa Construction using the Job Safety, Health and Environment Analysis (JSEA) method.
