PENERAPAN TEKNIK TALKING CHIPS DALAM BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN PESERTA DIDIK TENTANG BULLYING
APPLICATION OF THE TALKING CHIPS TECHNIQUE IN GROUP COACHING TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' UNDERSTANDING OF BULLYING
Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan di SMAN 1 Driyorejo Gresik pada saat Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik memiliki kecenderungan perilaku bullying berupa bullying verbal dan juga relasional. Dampak yang diakibatkan adalah trauma, takut bertemu dengan pelaku, hingga menganggu kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah. Guru BK belum melakukan upaya yang maksimal dalam menangani permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik tentang bullying melalui penerapan teknik talking chips dalam bimbingan kelompok. Talking chips merupakan salah satu teknik dalam metode pembelajaran kooperatif yang telah diadaptasi dengan kebutuhan layanan bimbingan kelompok yang masing-masing anggota kelompoknya mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama untuk saling aktif berdinamika kelompok dan berdiskusi topik pemahaman perilaku bullying yang dibahas. Pemahaman perilaku bullying dalam penelitian ini terdapat 3 tingkatan yaitu terjemahan, pemaknaan, dan ekstrapolasi. Penerapan teknik talking chips dalam bimbingan kelompok dilaksanakan dalam 3 kali. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan rancangan desain pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test. Subjek penelitian ialah 10 peserta didik kelas X-8 SMAN 1 Driyorejo dengan pemahaman bullying terendah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan jumlah pernyataan 44 dan analisis data melalui statistik non parametrik yaitu Uji Wilcoxon menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata skor pemahaman bullying peserta didik mengalami peningkatan antara sebelum dan sesudah mendapatkan layanan, dari 88,8 menjadi 149,4. Selanjutnya, melalui Uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari nilai syarat 0.05 yakni 0,005 yang berarti bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Teknik Talking Chips dalam Bimbingan Kelompok Dapat Meningkatkan Pemahaman Peserta Didik Tentang Bullying.
Based on observations made at SMAN 1 Driyorejo Gresik during the Introduction to Schooling Fields, it shows that students have a tendency to bully behavior in the form of verbal and relational bullying. The resulting impact is trauma, fear of meeting the perpetrator, and disrupting teaching and learning activities at school. Guidance and counseling teachers have not made maximum efforts to deal with these problems. This research aims to increase students' understanding of bullying through the application of the talking chips technique in group guidance. Talking chips is a technique in the cooperative learning method that has been adapted to the needs of group guidance services where each group member gets the same opportunity to be active with each other in group dynamics and discuss the topic of understanding bullying behavior being discussed. There are 3 levels of understanding bullying behavior in this research, namely translation, meaning, and extrapolation. The application of the talking chips technique in group guidance was carried out 3 times. This research method was carried out quantitatively with a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. The research subjects were 10 students in class X-8 of SMAN 1 Driyorejo with the lowest understanding of bullying. Data collection used a questionnaire with 44 statements and data analysis through non-parametric statistics, namely the Wilcoxon Test using the SPSS application. Based on the research results, the average student bullying understanding score increased between before and after receiving services, from 88.8 to 149.4. Next, using the Wilcoxon Test, the Asymp value was obtained. Sig (2-tailed) is smaller than the required value of 0.05, namely 0.005, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it is concluded that the application of the Talking Chips technique in group guidance can increase students' understanding of bullying.
