Pengembangan Media Big Book Terhadap Pengetahuan Bencana Banjir Pada Anak Usia 5 - 6 Tahun
Developing Of Big Book Media On Flood Disaster Knowledge For Children Aged 5 - 6 Years
Meningkatnya aktivitas penduduk dan kebutuhan ruang menjadi masalah tren pembangunan di perkotaan. Banjir bandang menjadi bencana yang paling mendominasi. Kurangnya pengetahuan akan resiko bencana banjir mengakibatkan anak menjadi kelompok masyarakat paling rentan ketika bencana alam terjadi. Pengetahuan bencana banjir perlu dikenalkan pada anak sejak dini, karena bencana menjadi salah satu kejadian rutin dalam bagian kehidupan saat ini. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui desain pengembangan media big book dan kelayakan media big book terhadap pengetahuan bencana banjir pada anak usia 5-6 tahun.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian R&D atau (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian ini hanya terfokus pada 3 tahap yaitu: (1) Analisis, (2) Perancangan, (3) Pengembangan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data angket. Media big book berukuran A3 dan berjumlah 18 halaman dengan memuat materi tentang penyebab dan akibat banjir, persiapan sebelum, saat dan sesudah banjir. Kelayakan produk media ditinjau dari segi isi (materi) dan produk (media) yang didasarkan pada indikator instrumen penilaian.
Analisis hasil dari perhitungan validitas isi (materi) sejumlah 86,1% menurut indikator risiko bencana banjir. Tes validitas produk (media) sebesar 95,6%, berdasarkan aspek kebahasaan dan teknik penyajian, termasuk kategori sangat layak. Presentase hasil dari saran dan masukan oleh 10 guru PAUD sebagai pengguna media memperoleh hasil sejumlah 79,6% berdasarkan indikator penilaian. Penilaian tersebut termasuk kategori layak. Indikator penilaian terbesar pada indikator nomor 5 yaitu gambar media big book disajikan dengan sederhana dan jelas. Maka, pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran pengetahuan bencana banjir dinyatakan layak sebagai media pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini.

Increasing population activity and space requirements are a problem of urban development trends. Flash floods are the most dominating disaster. Lack of knowledge about the risk of flooding causes children to become the most vulnerable community group when natural disasters occur. Knowledge of flood disasters needs to be introduced to children from an early age, because disasters are one of the routine events in today's life.
This development research aims to determine the design of big book media development and the feasibility of big book media on flood disaster knowledge in children aged 5-6 years. This study uses the type of research R&D or (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research only focuses on 3 stages, namely: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development. Data collection techniques using questionnaire data. The big book media is A3 in size and consists of 18 pages containing material on the causes and effects of floods, preparations before, during and after floods. The feasibility of media products is reviewed in terms of content (material) and product (media) based on the indicators of the assessment instrument.
Analysis of the results of the calculation of the validity of the content (material) amounted to 86.1% according to flood risk indicators. The product (media) validity test is 95.6%, based on linguistic aspects and presentation techniques, including the very feasible category. The percentage of results from suggestions and input by 10 PAUD teachers as media users obtained a result of 79.6% based on assessment indicators. The assessment is included in the appropriate category. The biggest assessment indicator in indicator number 5 is the big book media image presented in a simple and clear way. Thus, the development of learning tools for flood disaster knowledge is declared feasible as a learning medium for early childhood.
