Pada tahun 1965 menjadi salah satu titik balik perubahan bangsa Indonesia yang dramatis, terjadi pada 1 Oktober 1965. Peristiwa tersebut dikenal sebagai peristiwa lubang buaya, dikatakan sebagai sejarah karena peristiwa tersebut nyata, penting dan faktual. Peristiwa tersebut membawa dampak perubahan sosial, politik, ekonomi, agama, dan budaya di tahun-tahun berikutnya. Hal ini yang melatarbelakangi penciptaan karya seni instalasi. Fokus ide penciptaan perupa kali ini berfokus pada eksplorasi nilai-nilai sejarah peristiwa 1965 terhadap persoalan sosial, ekonomi, politik, agama serta budaya yang terjadi pada saat ini. Tujuan dari penciptaan karya ini mengingatkan bahwa pentingnya memahami sejarah bangsa sebagai pijakan untuk membangun masa depan bangsa supaya lebih baik. Manfaat dari penciptaan karya ini diharapkan mampu membuka kesadaran masyarakat untuk belajar dan memperluas pengetahuan tentang sejarah peristiwa 1965. Metode yang digunakan pada penciptaan ini menggunakan metode Gustami SP melalui 3 tahapan ; tahap eksplorasi, perancangan, dan perwujudan. Hasil dari penciptaan karya seni instalasi ini adalah, 5 karya seni instalasi yang berjudul: Public Voice, Timbang Berimbang, Tanah Yang Hilang, Dalam Gerak, dan Suara Dari Dasar.

The year 1965 was one of the turning points for the dramatic change of the Indonesian nation that occurred on October 1, 1965. The incident is known as the crocodile hole incident, said to be history because the event was real, important and factual. This event brought social, political, economic, religious, and cultural changes in the following years. This is what lies behind the creation of installation art. The focus of the idea of ​​creating artists this time focuses on extracting historical values ​​from the 1965 events on social, economic, political, religious and cultural issues that are currently happening. The purpose this work is to remind the importance of understanding the history of the nation as the basis for building a better future for the nation. The benefits of the purpose of creating this work are expected to open public awareness to learn and expand knowledge about the history of the events of 1965. The method used in this creation uses the Gustami SP method through 3 stages; exploration, design, and embodiment stages. The results of the creation of this installation art are, 5 installation artworks entitled: Public Voice, Timbang Berimbang, Tanah Yang Hilang, Dalam Gerak, and Suara dari Dasar.
