THE DESIGN OF INSTAGRAM FEED TEMPLATES AS PROMOTIONAL MEDIA CAFÉ ULALA (UNESA LEARNING LABORATORY) SURABAYA
Perancangan desain template feed Instagram Café Ulala diawali dari kebutuhan promosi media sosial di Instagram Café Ulala. Desain feed Instagram yang digunakan Café Ulala dirasa belum mampu untuk mendukung kegiatan promosi brand Café Ulala secara online. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk merancang media promosi digital berupa feed Insagram sebagai penguatan brand Café Ulala. Untuk memperoleh data serta analisisnya, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Proses perancangan yang digunakan adalah model teknik perancangan design thinking Gavin Ambrose. Proses dimulai dari tahap define, research, ideate, prototype, select, implement dan learn sehingga menghasilkan hasil akhir yang efektif untuk bisa digunakan sebagai solusi atas permasalahan dari brand Café Ulala yaitu kurang mendukungnya desain feed Instagram sebagai media penunjang promosi usaha secara digital. Hasil penelitian ini berupa template feed Instagram serta Instastory berjumlah 5 Jenis, yaitu konten produk, suasana lokasi, ucapan hari besar dan hari nasional, konten terkait Universitas Negeri Surabaya serta Kota Surabaya, dan yang terakhir konten filler. Hasil serta perancangan template feed Instagram ini sudah melalui tahap validasi dari tim manejemen Café Ulala.
The design of Café Ulala’s Instagram feed template begins with the need for social media promotion on Café Ulala's Instagram. The current design of the Café Ulala’s Instagram feed is deemed unable to support the online promotion of the Café Ulala brand. The purpose of this study was to design a digital promotional media using Instagram feed to strengthening the Café Ulala brand. To obtain data and analysis, this research uses qualitative research methods. The design process used is a model of Gavin Ambrose's design thinking technique. The process starts from the define, research, ideate, prototype, select, implement and learn stages so as to produce an effective final result that can be used as a solution to the problems of the Café Ulala brand, namely the lack of support for Instagram feed design as a media to support digital business promotion. The results of this study was Instagram feed templates and Instastory, totaling 5 types, first is product content, location content, greetings for holidays and national days content, content related to State University of Surabaya and the City of Surabaya, and the last is filler content. The results and design of this Instagram feed template have been approved through the validation stage from the Café Ulala management team.
