PENGGUNAAN KONSELING REALITA UNTUK MENGURANGI KEBIASAAN SISWA MEROKOK DI SMA NEGERI 12 SURABAYA
ABSTRAK
Kebiasaan merokok sering terjadi dikehidupan remaja terutama siswa sekolah menengah ke atas, perilaku merokok banyak ditemukan dikehidupan pendidikan, merokok sudah hal wajar dilakukan oleh siswa, ini berdasar pada hasil wawancara dan juga observasi di SMAN 12 Surabaya mendapatkan hasil bahwa kedapatan siswa yang sering merokok, siswa tidak segan-segan merokok di kantin meskipun sudah ada himbauan dilarang merokok dan akan mendapatkan sangsi ketika ketahuan merokok, Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti memberikan intervensi menggunakan konseling individu teknik realita untuk menurunkan kebiasaan merokok pada siswa kelas XI SMAN 12 Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan eksperimen kasus tunggal single subject design. Penelitian dilakukan pada 2 siswa kelas XI IPS yang memiliki kebiasaan merokok yang berat, namun dua siswa tersebut penghabisan batang rokok sangat berbeda, disini peneliti menggunakan sampel P dan sampel M, Sampel P satu minggu dapat menghabiskan 60 batang rokok setelah dapat perlakuan menjadi 30 batang rokok selama satu minggu, dan sampel M dapat menghabiskan batang rokok 56 setelah dapat perlakuan menjadi 36. Hal ini memnbuktikan bahwa penggunaan konseling inidvidu teknik realita dapat menurukan kebiasaan merokok pada peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 12 Surabaya.
ABSTRACT
Smoking habits often occur in the lives of adolescents, especially high school students. Smoking is commonly found in educational institution environment. It is not surprising to hear that students smoke. Based on observations and interviews at SMA Negeri 12 Surabaya, it is known that students do not hesitate to smoke in the canteen even though there has been an appeal forbidden to smoke and these students will get punishment when caught smoking. In this study, researchers provided an intervention using individual counseling on the reality technique to reduce habit of smoking in class XI students of SMAN 12 Surabaya. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach with a single subject design experimental design. The study was conducted on 2 students of class XI IPS who were heavy smokers. However, the two students had very different cigarettes consumption. In this study, researchers used a P-sample and a M-sample. In a week, P-sample could smoke 60 cigarettes. After receiving the treatment, there was a decrease in smoking habits that were formerly 60 to 30 cigarettes for a week. Meanwhile, in the M-sample case with the same treatment, there was a decrease in smoking habits that previously consumed 56 cigarettes to 36 cigarettes. This result of the study signifies that the use of counseling individual reality technique can reduce habit of smoking in class XI students of SMAN 12 Surabaya.
