Dalam pendidikan, Indonesia saat ini menerapkan Kurikulum 2013 dengan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar berfokus kepada peserta didik (student center) dan menggunakan sistem pedagogik modern dengan pendekatan saintifik sebagai sistem pembelajarannya. Dalam kurikulum 2013 diperlukan bahan ajar yang dapat menunjang dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar salah satunya yakni Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan, respon peserta didik serta efektifitas pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Pendekatan Saintifik dalam pembelajaran.

Objek penelitian ini adalah 34 peserta didik kelas X MIPA 4 MAN Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4-D oleh Thiagarajan . Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (a) persentase validasi ahli materi adalah 89,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak, hasil validasi ahli bahasa adalah 80% dengan kriteria layak, hasil validasi grafis adalah 86,4% dengan kriteria sangat layak. (b) ada peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik yang ditunjukkan dari hasil rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 59,4  dan hasil rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 84,5. Skor gain pada hasil penelitian ini adalah 0,6 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Kesimpulannya adalah Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi masalah pokok ekonomi dalam sistem ekonomi di kelas X MIPA 4 MAN Surabaya.

    In education, Indonesia currently aplly the Curriculumin 2013 with the process of studying teaching focused on educatng (student centers) and uses the modern pedagogical participants with scientific approach to the learning systems. In 2013 the curriculum needed teaching that could be sustainingin learning process of one of which is the the Student Worksheet (LKPD). The purpose of the study is to learn the worthiness, the student response and the effectiveness of Student Worksheet (LKPD) is based on the Scientific Approach to learn.

      The research object is 34 students of the class X MIPA 4 MAN Surabaya. This type of research is a development with a 4-D development model of  Thiagarajan. Types of data in these researches  are classified qualitative and quantitatively data.

      The research results suggest: (a) Percentage of the subject to matter is 89.5% with very accurate criteria, poduct validation of language is 80% with reliable criteria, the results of graphic validation are 86,4% with very reliable criteria. (b) there is an increase in student learning outcomes which is indicated by the results of the average pretest value of 59.4 and the average posttest value of 84.5. The gain score on the results of this study is 0.6 which is included in the medium category. The conclusion is the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the scientific approach can improve students' critical thinking skills in the subject matter of economic problems in the economic system in class X MIPA 4 MAN Surabaya.
