School Strategies in preparing students to enter state universities (Multi Case Study of Achievement Path and Written Test at SMAN 1 Cerme)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis strategi sekolah dalam menyiapkan peserta didik untuk masuk perguruan tinggi negeri melalui jalur prestasi dan tes tulis di SMAN 1 Cerme. Fokus penelitian ini mencakup tiga aspek utama, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi strategi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi multi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan dan studi dokumentasi. Subjke penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, koordinator guru BK serta peserta didik kelas XII yang baru saja lulus.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi sekolah dirancang melalui perencanaan yang berbasis data potensi akademik dan non-akademik peserta didik. Pelaksanaan strategi dilakukan melalui beberapa, untuk jalur prestasi melalui program bimbingan penguatan dan pengawasan capaian nilai akademik, pembinaan olimpiade atau lomba, dan pendampingan portofolio. Sedangkan untuk jalur tes tulis, melalui program bimbingan tes potensi skolastik. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala melalui analisis hasil capaian peserta didik dan umpan balik dari berbagai pihak. Strategi ini dijalankan secara kolaboratif dan adaptif.
Simpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan strategi sekolah dalam menyiapkan peserta didik untuk masuk perguruan tinggi negeri dipengaruhi oleh keterpaduan antara pendekatan akademik, motivasional, dan manajerial. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya penguatan manajemen strategi berbasis data dan evaluasi berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan daya saing lulusan SMA dalam seleksi masuk perguruan tinggi negeri.
This study aims to describe and analyze school strategies in preparing students to enter state universities through achievement and written tests at SMAN 1 Cerme. The focus of this study covers three main aspects, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation of strategies. The approach used is qualitative with a multi-case study design. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. The subjects of the study included the principal, vice principal for curriculum, BK teacher coordinator and grade XII students who had just graduated.
The results of the study show that school strategies are designed through planning based on data on students' academic and non-academic potential. The implementation of the strategy is carried out through several, for the achievement path through a program of guidance to strengthen and supervise academic achievement, coaching for olympiads or competitions, and portfolio assistance. While for the written test path, through a program of scholastic potential test guidance. Evaluation is carried out periodically through analysis of student achievement results and feedback from various parties. This strategy is carried out collaboratively and adaptively.
The conclusion of this study shows that the success of school strategies in preparing students to enter state universities is influenced by the integration of academic, motivational, and managerial approaches. The implication of this study is the need to strengthen data-based strategic management and continuous evaluation in improving the competitiveness of high school graduates in the selection of state university entrance.
