IDENTIFICATION OF KNOWLEDGE ATTITUDE AND PRACTICE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION PE TEACHERS ON FIRST AID FOR SPORTS INJURIES USING THE PRICES METHOD IN PASURUAN REGENCY
Penanganan pertama cedera olahraga sangat penting dilakukan dengan baik dan tepat untuk mencegah cedera yang lebih parah. Metode PRICES Protect Rest Ice Compression Elevation Support merupakan salah satu penanganan pertama cedera yang paling efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengetahuan sikap dan praktik guru PJOK tentang penanganan pertama cedera olahraga dengan metode PRICES di Kabupaten Pasuruan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen kuisioner melalui google form sebanyak 54 butir pertanyaan. Populasi berjumlah 35 guru dan menggunakan teknik total sampling pada guru PJOK SD SMP dan SMA di Kecamatan Prigen Kabupaten Pasuruan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data deskripsi kuantitatif dengan persentase Hasil penelitian dapat dijelaskan bahwa 2 orang 6 persen tergolong sangat kurang 8 orang 31 persen tergolong kurang 13 orang 37 persen tergolong cukup 11 orang 17 persen tergolong baik dan 1 orang 9 persen tergolong sangat baik. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan sikap dan praktik guru PJOK tentang penanganan pertama cedera olahraga dengan Metode PRICES di Kabupaten Pasuruan sebagian besar masuk kategori cukup. Maka dari itu hal tersebut perlu ditingkatkan bagi setiap guru agar semuanya memiliki pengetahuan yang baik dan merata.

First aid for sports injuries is crucial to be carried out properly and accurately to prevent more serious injuries. The PRICES method Protect Rest Ice Compression Elevation Support is one of the mosteffective approaches to initial injury management. This study aims to identify the knowledge attitudes and practices of Physical Education PJOK teachers regarding first aid for sports injuries using the PRICES method in Pasuruan Regency. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method using a questionnaire instrument distributed via Google Form consisting of 52 items. The population consisted of 35 teachers using total sampling technique involving PJOK teachers from elementary junior high and senior high schools in Prigen District Pasuruan Regency. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive quantitative analysis with percentage calculations. The results of thestudy show that 2 participants 6 percent fell into the very poor 8 participants 31 percent into the poor 13 participants 37 percent into the moderate 11 participants 17 percent into the good and 1 participant 9 percent into the verygood. It can be concluded that the knowledge attitudes and practices of PJOK teachers regarding first aid for sports injuries using the PRICES method in Pasuruan Regency mostly fall into the moderate category. Therefore it is necessary to improve these aspects so that all teachers have equally good and comprehensive knowledge.
