Pengembangan LMS Berbasis Moodle Sebagai Media Pendukung Pembelajaran Basis Data Pada Materi Query SQL Dasar
Development of a Moodle-Based LMS as a Supporting Learning Medium for Database Learning on Basic SQL Query Material
Pembelajaran Basis Data pada materi Query SQL Dasar membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang mampu menyajikan materi, aktivitas pemecahan masalah, praktik query, diskusi, dan evaluasi secara terstruktur. Namun, media pembelajaran yang secara khusus mengintegrasikan Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Moodle pada materi Query SQL Dasar masih perlu dikembangkan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Base Learning sebagai LMS berbasis Moodle, mengetahui tingkat kelayakan produk, serta mengetahui respon pengguna terhadap LMS sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran Basis Data pada materi Query SQL Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Produk yang dikembangkan memuat Kursus Basis Data, materi Query SQL Dasar, aktivitas pembelajaran berbasis masalah, forum diskusi, tugas, kuis, penilaian, SQL Compiler, dan AI Assistant. Uji kelayakan dilakukan melalui validasi ahli media, validasi ahli materi, validasi soal, dan pengujian sistem menggunakan Black-Box Testing. Sementara itu, respon pengguna dianalisis menggunakan angket berbasis Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) untuk mengetahui tingkat penerimaan pengguna terhadap E-Base Learning. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-Base Learning memperoleh persentase validasi ahli media sebesar 88,57% dengan kategori sangat valid, validasi ahli materi sebesar 86,67% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan validasi soal sebesar 90,91% dengan kategori sangat valid. Rata-rata hasil validasi ahli memperoleh persentase sebesar 88,72% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil pengujian fungsional Black-Box pada pengujian awal memperoleh persentase valid sebesar 79,31%, sedangkan pengujian non-fungsional memperoleh persentase valid sebesar 80%. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan dan diuji ulang, skenario yang sebelumnya tidak valid memperoleh hasil valid. Hasil respon pengguna berbasis TAM menunjukkan aspek Perceived Ease of Use sebesar 88,32%, Perceived Usefulness sebesar 88,43%, dan Behavioral Intention to Use sebesar 88,65%, dengan rata-rata sebesar 88,47%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa E-Base Learning memperoleh respon positif dan tingkat penerimaan yang sangat baik dari pengguna. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli, pengujian sistem, dan respon pengguna, E-Base Learning dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran Basis Data pada materi Query SQL Dasar serta memperoleh penerimaan yang sangat baik dari pengguna.
Teaching database concepts in the “Basic SQL Queries” module requires instructional materials that can present the content, problem-solving activities, query practice, discussions, and assessments in a structured manner. However, instructional media that specifically integrate a Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) for basic SQL query content still need to be developed. Therefore, this study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of E-Base Learning as a Moodle-based LMS used as a learning support tool for database education, specifically covering basic SQL queries. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The developed product includes a Database course, Basic SQL Query materials, problem-based learning activities, a discussion forum, assignments, quizzes, assessments, an SQL Compiler, and an AI Assistant. Feasibility testing was conducted through media expert validation, material expert validation, test item validation, and system testing using Black-Box Testing. Meanwhile, user responses were analyzed using a questionnaire based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to determine the level of user acceptance of E-Base Learning. The validation results show that E-Base Learning achieved an 88.57% validation rate from media experts, classified as “highly valid”; an 86.67% validation rate from subject matter experts, classified as “highly valid”; and a 90.91% validation rate for test items, classified as “highly valid.” The average expert validation result was 88.72%, which falls into the “highly valid” category. The initial Black-Box functional testing yielded a validity rate of 79.31%, while the non-functional testing yielded a validity rate of 80%. After corrections were made and the scenario was retested, the scenario that had previously been invalid produced valid results. The results of the TAM-based user responses showed that the Perceived Ease of Use was 88.32%, the Perceived Usefulness was 88.43%, and the Behavioral Intention to Use was 88.65%, with an average of 88.47% in the “highly acceptable” category. Thus, E-Base Learning has been deemed suitable for use as a learning support tool for database courses covering basic SQL queries.
