Pendidikan bertugas menciptakan proses pengalaman belajar untuk menumbuhkan potensi peserta didik untuk aktif belajar dan mengembangkan karakter setiap individu. Full Day School (FDS) menjadi salah satu langkah untuk mencegah siswa terjerumus kedalam pergaulan negatif karena memiliki waktu sekolah lebih lama dengan mengadakan jam tambahan berfokus pada penguatan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis nilai karakter yang dibangun dalam konsep FDS, menganalisis implementasi program penanaman nilia karakter, dan menganalisis konstribusi program penanaman nilai karakter dalam FDS terhadap karakter siswa di SD alam Al ‘Izzah Krian Sidoarjo
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus yang berlokasi di SD Alam Al ‘Izzah Krian Sidoarjo. Peneliti sebagai instrumen penelitian yang mengambil data primer berupa hasil wawancara dari kepala sekolah, guru, wali murid serta siswa, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dan data sekunder berasal dari dokumen yang mendukung data primer. Teknik pengambilan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis pengecekan keabsahan data meliputi uji kredibilitas, uji transferabilitas, uji dependabilitas, dan uji konfirmabilitas.
Hasill penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai karakter ditanamkan dalam konsep FDS di SD alam Al I’zzah Krian Sidoarjo adalah nilai religious, mandiri, kejujuran, tanggungjawab, dan peduli sosial. Implementasi nilai religius berupa (1) sholat dhuha dan sholat wajib secara berjama’ah, (2) membaca surat pendek di kelas sebelum pembelajaran, (3) membaca do’a sebelum dan sesudah pelajaran, (4) membaca asmaul husna, (5) Tahfidz, dan (6) mengadakan kegiatan Malam Bina Iman dan Takwa (MABIT), implementasi karakter mandiri berupa (1) market day, (2) art, (3) cooking class, (4) Outbound, (5) kegiatan OTFA (out, tracking, fun, adventure). Karakter kejujuran berupa proses pembelajaran, dan kantin kejujuran, karakter tanggungjawab berupa program Bersis Rapi Tertata (BRT), dan karakter sosial berupa program SENASIB (sedekah nasi bungkus), (2) Jumat berbagi, (3) Piring berbagi, dan (4) kegiatan spontanitas/ safari sosial. Program sekolah tersebut berkonstribusi terhadap penanaman karakter siswa.

Education aims to create a learning experience process to grow the potential of students to actively learn and develop the character of each individual. Full Day School (FDS) is one of the steps to prevent students from falling into negative relationships because they have longer school time by holding additional hours focusing on strengthening character. This study aims to describe and analyze the character values built in the FDS concept, analyze the implementation of the character value development program, and analyze the contribution of the character value development program in the FDS to the character of students in Al 'Izzah Krian Sidoarjo Natural Elementary School.
This research uses a qualitative case study approach located at SD Alam Al 'Izzah Krian Sidoarjo. The researcher as a research instrument takes primary data in the form of interviews from school principals, teachers, parents and students, observations, and documentation, and secondary data comes from documents that support primary data. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis used is data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The analysis of checking the validity of the data includes the credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test.
The results of this study indicate that the character values built in the FDS concept at SD Alam Al I'zzah Krian Sidoarjo are religious values, independence, honesty, responsibility, and social care. Implementation of religious values in the form of (1) dhuha prayer and obligatory prayers in congregation, (2) reading short letters in class before learning, (3) reading prayers before and after lessons, (4) reading Asmaul Husna, (5) Tahfidz, and (6) held the Night of Faith and Piety (MABIT), implementation of independent characters in the form of (1) market day, (2) art, (3) cooking class, (4) Outbound, (5) OTFA (outdoor) activities, tracking, fun, adventure). The character of honesty is in the form of a learning process, and an honest canteen, the character of responsibility is in the form of an Organized Organized Organizing Program (BRT), and social character in the form of the SENASIB program (wrapped rice alms), (2) Friday sharing, (3) sharing plates, and (4) activities spontaneity/social safari. The school program contributes to the formation of students' character.
