Pengaruh Latihan Plyometric Drop Jumps pada Miografi Otot, Kemampuan Loncatan Vertikal, Ground Reaction Forces, dan Muscle Explosiveness
The Effect Of Plyometric Drop Jumps On Muscle Myograph, Vertical Jumping Ability, Ground Reaction Forces And Muscle Explosiveness
There are many studies on the quantity aspect in plyometric exercises, regarding volume, sets, reps, feet contact and speed contact, but few emphasize the quality aspect with the activity on the muscle itself and the things that influence it. By looking at the EMG, RFD, GRF activity and their vertical jumps, we will know the quality of plyometric exercises.
This study aims to test the differences in surface electromyographic activity in the quadriceps, hamstring and gastrocnemius muscles in the drop jumps activity from a height of 30 cm (DJ 30) , 45 cm (DJ45), and 50 cm (DJ50) to the vertical jump (LV), rate of force development (RFD) and ground reaction forces (GRF).
This research is an experimental research with the design of the posttest only group design. The subjects in this study were men, aged 18-20 years, and trained well. The number of samples was 45 people and divided into 3 groups. Exercises are given by jumping on boxes as high as 30 cm (DJ30), 45 cm (DJ45) and 50 cm (DJ50) which is done 4 times a week for 7 weeks. The research instrument used the EMG test to determine the activity of muscle impulses and the force plate to determine RFD, GRF and vertical jumps.
The data were processed statistically using manova and post hoc analysis techniques. The results of data analysis found that there was a significant difference in the activity of the hamstring muscles on dropjumps with a box height of 45 cm (DJ45) and box 30 cm (DJ30) (p <0.05). And box height 45 cm (DJ45) has a significant effect on hamstring muscle activity. There is a significant effect of increasing vertical jump on the DJ45 compared to the DJ30 and DJ50. There is no significant effect across all jumps on the GRF and there is a significant difference in the RFD at the DJ45.
