This study aims to test the success of the application of mind mapping technique in mentoring group to improve learning time management at home toward grade students in State Senior High School 1 Menganti Gresik. This study uses a quantitative approach with experimental design namely one group pre-test and post-test design. The subjects in this study were seven students taken by purposive sampling from one of the State High Schools in Gresik. The research data was collected through questionnaires and was analyzed through non-parametric statistics with the Wilcoxon signed rank test formula. The results of statistical analysis shows that the learning time management in students increases significantly, with significance in the determination of α (level of error) of 5% is 0.05. The result of asymp.sig (2-tailed) is ρ = 0.018. Then the value of 0.018 is smaller than the value of the error level of 0.05. Based on this results, it could be concluded that the application of mind mapping techniques in mentoring group is effective to improve learning time management for students. Based on the conclusions that have been presented, two recommendations are proposed; firstly for the guidance and counselor teacher or the counselor could use the mind mapping technique in mentoring group to handle student issues related to the learning time management. Secondly, this study is possible to be reviewed using different methods and samples.
