Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan kelayakan media 2) mendeskripsikan keefektifan penggunaan media dan 3) mendeskripsikan kepraktisan media digital picture book untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Berkembangnya pengetahuan siswa tidak terlepas dari buku yang mereka baca. Pada era digital ini pembelajaran bercerita juga dapat dikombinasikan dengan kecanggihan teknologi. Dengan maksud agar pembelajaran menjadi kreatif dan menyenangkan.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dan pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model penelitian dari Borg and Gall. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi (1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan format produk awal, (4) uji coba awal, (5) revisi produk, (6) uji coba skala besar, (7) revisi produk akhir, dan (8) desiminasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan kuisioner.
Sejalan dengan tujuan penelitian ini, hasil pengembangan media memiliki kriteria layak dengan skor validasi ahli materi 88% dan skor validasi ahli media 92%. Berdasarkan kepraktisan media, diperoleh presentase mencapai 94% dengan kategori praktis untuk digunakan. Keefektifan belajar siswa berdasarkan analisis Uji-T menunjukkan bahwa nilai hasil pretest mendapatkan Sig. 2-tailed sebesar 0,424 > 0,05 yang berarti tidak ada perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar pretest siswa kelas pengembangan dan kelas pembanding sebelum diberikan media. Sedangkan nilai hasil postest mendapatkan Sig. 2-tailed sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar postest siswa kelas pengembangan dan kelas pembanding setelah diberikan media. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media digital picture book berbasis tematik integratif mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V sekolah dasar.

The aims of the study are 1) describe the feasibility of media 2) describe the effective use of media and 3) describe the practicality of digital picture book media to improve student learning outcomes. The development of student's knowledge cannot be separated from the books they read. In this digital era, storytelling learning can also be combined with technology. With the goal that learning becomes creative and fun.
The method in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the research model from Borg and Gall. This research procedure includes (1) preliminary research and information collection, (2) planning, (3) development of product formats, (4) initial trials, (5) product revisions, (6) large-scale trials, (7) final product revision, and (8) dissemination. Data collection techniques using learning outcomes test and questionnaires.
In line with the objectives of this study, the results of media developing have feasible criteria with the material expert validation have a score of 88% and the media expert validation have a score of 92%. Based on the practicality of the media, the percentage was 94% with the practical category to use. The effective of student learning based on the T-test analysis shows that the pretest results get Sig. 2-tailed of 0.424> 0.05, which means that there is no significant difference in the pretest learning outcomes of the developing class and comparison class students before being given the media. Meanwhile, the value of the posttest results got Sig. 2-tailed of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in post-test learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class after being given the media. This shows that the development of digital picture books media-based on integrative thematic can improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students.
