TRANSFORMASI PERINTIWA KERAPAN SAPI MELALUI BIOMEKANIKA MEYERHOLD (TINJAUAN PENYUTRADARAAN )

TRANSFORMATION OF “KERAPAN SAPI” EVENT BY MEYERHOLD BIOMECANICS (RE-DIRECTION REVIEW)

ABSTRAK

Madura selain  dikenal sebagai pulau penghasil garamjuga memiliki seni dan budaya yang populer dan unik seperti “Kerapan Sapi”, tradisi turun-temurun ini  diperkirakan sejak abad 13. Berawal dari ide Pangeran Katandur dalam membantu rakyat mengatasi kegersangan tanah di Pulau Sapudi, Sumenep dengan memanfaatkan tenaga 2 ekor Sapi. Tanah yang diolah akhirnya bisa subur dan makmur, sebagai rasa bersyukur atas keberhasilan panen, Pangeran mengajak masyarakat Madura mengadakan balapan Sapi. Dengan adanya serangkaian peristiwa Kerapan Sapi, muncul ide untuk mentransformasikan pertunjukan budaya ini kedalam pertunjukan seni teater tubuh / non realis. Cara menyampaikan jalan ceritanya melalui gerak tubuh yang diciptakan dari hasil kerja laboratorium antara sutradara dan pelaku dengan menerapkan teori Biomekanika Meyerhold kemudian dikembangkan dengan menggabungkan unsur gerak pencaksilat Madura. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (a) Mendeskripsikan salah satu budaya Madura “Kerapan Sapi” kedalam era kemajuan teater melalui teknik Biomekanika Meyerhold(b) memahami pembuatan rancangan konsep penyutradaraan (c) untuk mengetahui Tahapan – tahapan teknik Biomekanika Meyerhold.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif.Observasi, wawancara baik langsung atau tidak, dan dokumentasi merupakan cara pengumpulan sumber data. Penelitiinimenggunakan tringulasi sumber, tringulasi metode, dan tringulasi dengan penelitian lain sebagai bentuk meningkatkan kesahihan atau kevalidan data yang diperoleh.

Hasil penelitian ini adalah peneliti dapat menunjukkan hasil tinjauan penyutradaraan pada transformasi peristiwa Kerapan Sapi yang menggunakan disiplin teori Biomekanika Meyerhold. Dimana rancangan konsep penyutradaraan tersebut disusun dan dibuat secara teliti, detail dan difikirkan secara matang karena merupakan awal mula proses sampai selesai, sehingga progresyang direncanakan bisa tercapai.Dimulai dari pencarian jenis penyutradaraan, judul, pembuatan treatmen, pelaku, dan lainnya semua di kaitkan dengan objek dan subjek. Peneliti juga menemukan solusi dalam mentransformasikan peristiwa Kerapan Sapi ini melalui penerapan tahapan teknik Biomekanika yang di gabungkan gerak pencak silat Madura kepada pelaku seperti olah tubuh, teknik melompat, jalan jongkok, teknik berlari, berjalan, menahan, melempar, memantul, merentang dan dasar gerak pencak silat seni supaya bisa melatih kekuatan, ketahanan, kelincahan, keseimbanga, dan sendi- sendi tubuh. Dengan begitu pelaku mampu mengembangkan dan menciptakan gerakan unik penuh makna sesuai teori yang di korelasikan dengan jalan cerita.

ABSTRACT

            Madura, besides being known as a salt-producing island, has  culture art of either popular or unique such as "Kerapan Sapi", this hereditary tradition has existed since the 13rdcentury. Starting from the idea of ​​Prince Katandur for helping people overcame the aridity of land on Sapudi Island, Sumenep was utilizing the power of 2 cows. Finally the cultivated land could be fertile and prosperous, as a sense of gratitude for the success of the harvest, the Prince invited the Madurese community to hold cows race. By means of catena of events of the "Kerapan Sapi", an idea emerged to transform this cultural performance into a body / non-realist theater performance. The way to convey the storyline through gestures created from laboratory work between the director and actorsby applying Meyerhold Biomechanics theory and then developed by combining elements of Madura martial arts. The purpose of these researches are: (a) To describe one of Madura culture "Kerapan Sapi" into the era of theatrical progression through the Meyerhold Biomechanics technique (b) To understand for the making of the concept of directing (c) To know the stages of the Meyerhold Biomechanics technique.

            The research method used by researchers is qualitative. Observations made by interviews, whether direct or not, as well as documentation are ways of collecting data sources. The researcher uses the source triangulation, method triangulation, and triangulation with other research as a form of increasing the validity of the data obtained.

            The results of this research are the researcher can show the results of directing review on the transformation of the "Kerapan Sapi" event by using the discipline of Meyerhold Biomechanics theory. Which the draft concept of directing is prepared and made carefully, in detail and thought through because it is the beginning of the process to completion, so as the planned progress can be achieved. Starting from the search for types of directing, titles, making treatments, actors, and others are all associated with objects and subjects. Researcher also found a solution in transforming the "Kerapan Sapi" event through the application of the Biomechanics technique stages which combined the movements of Madura martial arts to actors such as bodybuilding, jumping, squatting, running, walking, holding, throwing, bouncing, stretching and basic movements of martial arts in order to train strength, endurance, agility, balance, and joints of the body. Therefore the actors are able to develop and to create unique movements full of meaning according to the theory which is correlated with the storyline.
