IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MELALUI KULTUR SEKOLAH DI SMAN 18 SURABAYA
CHARACTER EDUCATION IMPLEMENTATION THROUGH SCHOOL CULTURE IN SMAN 18 SURABAYA
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pendidikan karakter melalui kultur sekolah di SMAN 18 Surabaya dan mengetahui kultur sekolah yang dapat mengembangkan pendidikan karakter di SMAN 18 Surabaya. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori belajar sosial Albert Bandura. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, teknik observasi, dan teknik dokumentasi. Uji kebasahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) kultur yang ada di SMAN 18 ada 2 yaitu kultur fisik dan non fisik, kultur fisik meliputi (meliputi 3 bagian penting, 1, Kondisi Fisik Halaman Sekolah 2, Kondisi Fisik Ruangan Sekolah 3, Kondisi Fisik Sarana dan Prasarana Pendukung) sedangkan kultur non fisik meliputi (Pembudayaan Nilai Kedisiplinan, Nilai Religius, Nilai Tanggung jawab,Nilai peduli lingkungan serta Nilai Kejujuran). (2) Nilai-nilai karakter yang di implementasi melalui kultur pendidikan dalam upaya pembentukan karakter yang dilakukan oleh pihak SMAN 18 Surabaya terdiri dari 5 nilai yaitu: (nilai religius, disiplin, jujur, bertanggung jawab dan peduli lingkungan) nilai katakter yang paling unggul adalah religious, karena sesuai dengan misi SMAN 18 Surabaya IMTAQ (iman dan taqwa) dan banyaknya peraturan tentang keagamaan. dengan 4 penerapan program kegiatan kultur sekolah meliputi (Kesenian, Olahraga, Keagamaan/kerohanian dan SKI). (3) Kultur Sekolah yang dapat mengembangkan Karakter Di SMAN 18 Surabaya ada 4 bagian meliputi (Berdoa sebelum Kegiatan belajar mengajar, Rutinitas mengaji juz amma dan kerohanian bagi non muslim, Menyanyikan lagu Indonesia raya 3 stanza, Pembacaan visi misi sekolah). kegiatan kultur sekolah di SMAN 18 Surabaya berjalan dengan sangat efektif karena sesuai dengan pola perencanaan program yang meliputi perencanaan sekolah, sosialisasi dengan walimurid dan siswa, uji coba, dan pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi.
This study aims to describe the application of character education through school culture at SMAN 18 Surabaya and find out the school culture that can develop character education at SMAN 18 Surabaya. In this study using Albert Bandura's social learning theory. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The technique used for data collection uses interview techniques, observation techniques, and documentation techniques. The data wetness test in this study uses source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that, (1) there are 2 cultures in SMAN 18 namely physical and non-physical culture, physical culture includes (includes 3 important parts, 1, Physical Condition of School Yard 2, Physical Condition of School Room 3, Physical Condition of Facilities and Supporting Infrastructure) while non-physical culture includes (Culture of Disciplinary Values, Religious Values, Responsibility Values, Values of caring for the environment and Values of Honesty). (2) Character values implemented through education culture in an effort to build character carried out by SMAN 18 Surabaya consist of 5 values, namely: (religious values, discipline, honesty, responsibility and care for the environment) the most superior katacter values are religious, because it is in accordance with the mission of SMAN 18 Surabaya IMTAQ (faith and piety) and the many regulations regarding religion. with 4 application programs the school culture activities include (Arts, Sports, Religion / spirituality and SKI). (3) School Culture that can develop Characters In SMAN 18 Surabaya there are 4 parts including (Praying before teaching and learning activities, routinely reciting juz amma and spirituality for non-Muslims, singing Indonesia Raya 3 stanza song, Reading school vision and mission). School culture activities at SMAN 18 Surabaya run very effectively because it is in accordance with the pattern of program planning which includes school planning, socialization with students and students, trials, and implementation, and evaluation.
