GAMBARAN SELF-COMPASSION SISWA DI SMA NEGERI SE-SURABAYA BARAT DALAM SITUASI PANDEMIK VIRUS COVID-19
DESCRIPTION OF STUDENTS' SELF-COMPASSION AT STATE HIGH SCHOOL IN WEST SURABAYA IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran Self-Compassion pada siswa SMA Negeri se-Surabaya Barat dimasa pandemik virus covid-19 dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian menggunakan teknik sampling insidental. Jumlah sampel yang didapatkan sebanyak 758 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan merupakan terjemahan dari Self-compassion Scale (SCS) yang disebar secara daring menggunakan google formulir. Analisis data memanfaatkan bantuan aplikasi Microsoft excel 2013 dan SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan Self-Compassion yang dimiliki oleh siswa di SMA Negeri se-Surabaya Barat cukup baik dengan presentase sebesar 61% (2,99). Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, siswa masih perlu melakukan peningkatan Self-Compassion karena memiliki kecenderungan melakukan kritik pada diri sendiri, merasa terasingkan, belum bisa menerima kenyataan serta ketakutan yang dimiliki oleh diri sendiri sehingga terlihat seperti melebih-lebihkan masalah yang sedang dialaminya. Maka dari itu, peran orangtua untuk membantu meningkatkan Self-Compassion siswa sangat diperlukan, dengan cara meminimalisir tekanan selama berada di rumah untuk menciptakan hubungan intrapersonal yang sehat.

Abstract
This study aims to get a picture of Self-Compassion in high school students throughout West Surabaya during the COVID-19 pandemic by using a quantitative descriptive approach. The study used incidental sampling technique. The number of samples obtained as many as 758 students. The research instrument used is a translation of the Self-compassion Scale (SCS) which is distributed online using a google form. Data analysis utilizes the help of Microsoft excel 2013 and SPSS 16.0 applications for windows. The results of the study show that the Self-Compassion possessed by students at public high schools throughout West Surabaya is quite good with a percentage of 61% (2.99). In this regard, students still need to improve their Self-Compassion because they have a tendency to criticize themselves, feel isolated, cannot accept reality and their own fears so that it looks like they are exaggerating the problems they are experiencing. Therefore, the role of parents to help improve students' Self-Compassion is very necessary, by minimizing pressure while at home to create healthy intrapersonal relationships.
