PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MENGGAMBAR ILUSTRASI BERBASIS GOOGLE SITES DI SMPN 1 NAWANGAN PACITAN
DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING MEDIA FOR DRAWING ILLUSTRATIONS BASED ON GOOGLE SITES AT SMPN 1 NAWANGAN PACITAN
Latar belakang penelitian ini bermula pada tahun 2019 dimana kondisi pandemi COVID19 mulai menyebar di Indonesia hingga dilanjutkan pada kebijakan baru pendidikan yang kita kenal sebagai Merdeka Belajar yang salah satunya adalah kegiatan belajar mengajar yang menyesuaikan dengan teknologi masa kini Bapak Sujarmo S Pd selaku guru seni budaya di SMPN 1 Nawangan pada tahun 2020 telah membuat rancangan Google Sites yang diimplementasikan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMPN 1 Nawangan Penggunaan Google Sites digunakan karena menyesuaikan dengan kondisi lingkungan di SMPN 1 Nawangan yang notabene daerah pedesaan di pegunungan Pacitan serta perlunya penyesuaian pembelajaran dengan basis teknologi yang mudah diterima dan diakses oleh siswa dan guru Tetapi terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu dikembangkan pada sisi kelengkapan materi serta desain UI user interface dan UX user experience yang mudah dipahami oleh siswa dan guru terutama pada bab materi menggambar ilustrasi Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang proses perancangan Google Sites dan pengimplementasiannya sebagai media pembelajaran ilustrasi kelas 8 SMPN 1 Nawangan serta mengetahui bagaimana respon guru dan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran digital ini Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Google Sites ini menggunakan metode Research and Development RnD dengan model pengembangan ADDIE Analyze Design Development Implementation and Evaluation Serta menggunakan metode pengambilan data berupa wawancara pembagian kuisioner observasi lapangan serta dokumentasi guna mengabadikan kegiatan penelitian Dengan jumlah kelas VIII ada 5 kelas dengan masing masing jumlah siswa ada 32 anak maka uji coba dilakukan terhadap 30 siswa dari 160 siswa kelas VIII guna perjalanan penelitian lebih mudah dan efektif Data dianalisis dengan mereduksi data menyajikan data dan memberikan kesimpulan Serta menguji kelayakan media oleh dua validator yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media Proses pengembangan media dilakukan melalui tujuh tahap dimulai dengan menganalisis potensi dan masalah yang dialami saat kegiatan belajar mengajar mengumpulkan data merancang produk mengajukan validasi produk kepada validator merevisi produk sesuai saran validator mengimplementasikan media Google Sites pada siswa dan yang terakhir yakni menerima respon siswa Hasil kelayakan media pembelajaran Google Sites pada materi menggambar ilustrasi menurut ahli materi mencapai rata rata prosentase 98 termasuk kategori sangat baik menurut ahli media mencapai rata rata prosentase 100 termasuk kategori sangat baik kemudian menurut respon guru pengampu mata pelajaran seni budaya SMPN 1 Nawangan mencapai rata rata prosentase 96 yang berkategori sangat baik Hasil dari pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Google Sites pada materi menggambar ilustrasi mendapatkan respon siswa dengan rata rata prosentase 97 siswa merspon sangat baik
The background of this research begins in 2019 where the COVID 19 pandemic conditions began to spread in Indonesia and continued with the new education policy that we know as Merdeka Belajar one of which is teaching and learning activities that adapt to todays technology Mr Sujarmo S Pd as a cultural arts teacher at SMPN 1 Nawangan in 2020 has designed Google Sites which is implemented as a learning media at SMPN 1 Nawangan The use of Google Sites is used because it adapts to the environmental conditions at SMPN 1 Nawangan which is a rural area in the Pacitan mountains and the need to adjust learning with a technology base that is easily accepted and accessed by students and teachers But there are some things that need to be developed in terms of material completeness as well as UI user interface and UX user experience design that is easily understood by students and teachers especially in the illustration drawing material chapter The purpose of this research is to describe the process of designing Google Sites and its implementation as a learning media for 8th grade illustration at SMPN 1 Nawangan and to find out how teachers and students respond to this digital learning media This Google Sites based learning media development uses the Research and Development RnD method with the ADDIE development model Analyze Design Development Implementation and Evaluation As well as using data collection methods in the form of interviews distribution of questionnaires field observations and documentation to capture research activities With the number of VIII classes there are 5 classes with each number of students there are 32 children the trial was conducted on 30 students from 160 VIII class students to make the research trip easier and more effective Data is analyzed by reducing data presenting data and providing conclusions As well as testing the feasibility of media by two validators namely material experts and media experts The media development process is carried out through seven stages starting with analyzing the potential and problems experienced during teaching and learning activities collecting data designing products submitting product validation to validators revising products according to validator suggestions implementing Google Sites media to students and finally receiving student responses The results of the feasibility of Google Sites learning media on illustration drawing material according to material experts reached an average percentage of 98 including a very good category according to media experts reached an average percentage of 100 including a very good category then according to the response of teachers teaching cultural arts subjects SMPN 1 Nawangan reached an average percentage of 96 which was categorized as very good The results of the development of Google Sites based learning media on illustration drawing material get student responses with an average percentage of 97 of students responding very well
