Saat ini kecintaan terhadap budaya lokal semakin terkikis, salah satu penyebabnya adanya pengaruh dari budaya lain yang sudah masuk ke Indonesia. Sekolah musik merupakan tempat untuk belajar musik, baik musik tradisi nusantara dan musik klasik Eropa. Namun hampir semua lembaga musik mengacu pada kurikulum yang ada di luar negeri dan berbasis musik klasik, memang tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa perkembangan musik sangat dipengaruhi oleh tradisi musik Barat. Kekayaan lagu-lagu nusantara yang dimiliki oleh bangsa Indonesia perlu diwariskan kepada generasi muda melalui pembelajaran musik. Dalam pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis lagu nusantara ini peneliti memilih instrumen gitar klasik, karena peneliti pernah menempuh perkuliahan musik mayor gitar klasik.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan buku ajar bermain gitar klasik yang dilengkapi dengan deskripsi proses pengembangan buku ajar dan kualitas buku. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yaitu menganalisis data dengan cara mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan data yang telah terkumpul.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ini sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai buku ajar oleh siswa elementary grade di lembaga musik non formal karena terdapat peningkatan perolehan nilai persentase pada setiap validasi yang keseluruhannya mencapai >75%. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pembelajaran musik melalui Pengembangan Buku Ajar Bermain Gitar Klasik Berbasis Lagu-lagu Nusantara Untuk Siswa di Lembaga Pendidikan Non Formal.

Currently the love for local culture is getting eroded, one of the reasons is the influence of other cultures that have entered Indonesia. Music school is a place to learn music, both traditional Indonesian music and European classical music. However, almost all music institutions refer to curricula that exist abroad and are based on classical music, it is undeniable that the development of music is strongly influenced by Western musical traditions. The wealth of Indonesian songs owned by the Indonesian people needs to be passed on to the younger generation through music learning. In the development of teaching materials based on archipelago songs, the researchers chose the classical guitar instrument, because the researcher had studied classical guitar major music.
The purpose of this research is to produce a textbook for playing classical guitar which is equipped with a description of the process of developing the textbook and the quality of the book. This research is an R&D (Research and Development) research using the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews and observations. The data analysis technique used is qualitative, namely analyzing data by describing or describing the data that has been collected.
The results of the study indicate that this book is very suitable to be used as a textbook by elementary grade students in non formal music institutions because there is an increase in the percentage score for each validation which overall reaches >75%. Through this research, it is hoped that it can contribute to music learning through the Development of Textbooks for Playing Classical Guitar Based on Nusantara Songs for Students in Non Formal Educational Institutions.
