Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses redesign komponen automatic switch dan perakitan (assembly) pada vertical drilling machine KTK LGT-360 semi otomatis. Selanjutnya akan didapatkan hasil uji fungsi fitur semi otomatis setelah dilakukannya proses redesain.
Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) untuk memastikan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan tidak hanya inovatif tetapi juga dapat diimplementasikan sesuai fungsi. Proses redesain hanya terdapat di 3 (tiga) komponen, yaitu motor listrik, automatic switch, dan pulley v-belt. Serta melakukan uji fungsi dengan melakukan pengeboran pada material baja karbon ST-37 dengan kecepatan yang berbeda disetiap speed transmisi pulley.
Berdasarkan hasil yang di dapatkan vertical drilling machine KTK LGT-360 semi otomatis memiliki spesifikasi akhir yaitu berdimensi 640 mm x 330 mm x 1129 mm, tegangan 380 VAC/1 HP, dan sistem kelistirkan 1 phase. Serta pengujian fungsi dengan menggunakan mata bor 5 mm dan menggunakan 3 kecepatan transmisi pulley yang berbeda untuk diujikan pada material uji baja karbon ST-37 dengan tebal 5 mm mendapatkan hasil dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Dan fitur semi otomatis yang telah melalui proses redesain dan perakitan dapat berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya.

This research aims to determine the process of redesigning automatic switch components and assembly on the semi-automatic KTK LGT-360 vertical drilling machine. Next, the results of the semi-automatic feature function test will be obtained after the redesign process is carried out.
The research used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) to ensure that the products produced are not only innovative but can also be implemented according to function. The redesign process only involves 3 (three) components, namely the electric motor, automatic switch, and v-belt pulley. As well as carrying out function tests by drilling into ST-37 carbon steel material at different speeds for each pulley transmission speed.
Based on the results obtained, the semi-automatic KTK LGT-360 vertical drilling machine has final specifications, namely dimensions 640 mm x 330 mm x 1129 mm, voltage 380 VAC/1 HP, and 1 phase electrical system. As well as functional testing using a 5 mm drill bit and using 3 different pulley transmission speeds to be tested on ST-37 carbon steel test material with a thickness of 5 mm, the results showed that it functioned well. And semi-automatic features that have gone through a redesign and assembly process can function as they should.
