Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bentuk dan fungsi tuturan yang digunakan Vincent, Desta, dan Kak Seto pada acara YouTube VINDES. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif karena data penelitian yang didapatkan dengan mengumpulkan informasi terkait tuturan, serta disesuaikan dengan kajian teori yang digunakan, yaitu teori Austin dan Searle tentang ilokusi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah video YouTube VINDES episode Kak Seto dan dunia anak yaitu tuturan yang disampaikan Vincent, Desta, dan Kak Seto. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak bebas libat cakap dan dilanjutkan dengan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik padan intralingual dan ekstralingual. Teknik padan intralingual dilakukan untuk menentukan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ilokusi, sedangkan teknik padan ekstralingual dilakukan untuk menentukan makna dan konteks tuturan ilokusi yang muncul dalam video YouTube VINDES episode Kak Seto dan dunia anak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan tuturan asertif, tuturan direktif, dan tuturan ekspresif, serta maksud yang disampaikan oleh Vincent, Desta, dan Kak Seto kepada mereka yang menonton YouTube tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form and function of the speech used by Vincent, Desta, and Kak Seto on the YouTube VINDES program. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method because the research data was obtained by collecting information related to speech, and adapted to the study of the theory used, namely Austin and Searle's theory of the illocutionary. The data source of this research is the YouTube video of the VINDES episode of Kak Seto and the world of children, namely the stories conveyed by Vincent, Desta, and Kak Seto. The research data were collected using the free-of-conversation listening technique and continued with the note-taking technique. Analysis of the data used in this study used the free-to-talk method and continued with the note-taking technique. The data analysis technique used in this study is the intralingual and extra lingual equivalent techniques. The intralingual equivalent technique was used to determine the form and function of the illocutionary speech act, while the extra lingual equivalent technique was used to determine the meaning and context of the illocutionary speech that appeared in the YouTube video VINDES episode Kak Seto and the world of children. Based on the results of the research, it was found assertive speech, directive speech, and expressive speech, as well as the intentions conveyed by Vincent, Desta, and Kak Seto to those who watched YouTube.
