Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media permainan edukatif yang berjudul Molydo of Temperature and Heat (MTH) pada materi kalor dan perpindahannya untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa. Kelayakan media dalam penelitian ini ditinjau dari tiga aspek yaitu kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan desain uji coba One Group Pretest-Posttest. Media ini diuji cobakan pada 32 siswa kelas VII H SMPN 1 Madiun. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain observasi, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media ini sangat valid dengan rata-rata persentase kevalidan sebesar 87,22%. Media permainan MTH sangat praktis digunakan dengan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa dengan rata-rata sebesar 97,74% dan juga hasil angket respon siswa dengan rata-rata sebesar 96,87%. Media ini juga dinyatakan efektif ditinjau dari peningkatan hasil pretest dan posttest siswa, dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,69 yang termasuk kategori sedang. MTH juga dinyatakan efektif ditinjau dari peningkatan sub indikator keaktifan siswa selama tiga pertemuan. Kesimpulannya media ini layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa.

This study aimed to produced an educational media game called Molydo of Temperature and Heat (MTH) on the heat and heat transfer material to improve student activity and learning outcomes. The feasibility of the media in this study is reviewed from three aspects, namely validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research method used was Research and Development with the One Group Pretest-Posttest trial design. This media was tested on 32 students of class VII-H of SMPN 1 Madiun. Data collection techniques used include observation, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed this media was very valid with an average percentage of validity of 87,22%. The MTH game media is very practical to use by the results of observations of student activities with an average of 97,74% and also the results of student questionnaire responses with an average of 96,87%. This media was also declared effective in terms of increasing student pretest and posttest results, with an N-Gain score of 0,69 which was included in the medium category. MTH was also declared effective in terms of increasing sub-indictaors of student activity during three meetings. In conclusion, this media is appropriate to be use to increase student activity and learning outcomes.
