Pengembangan Media Video Animasi Bersubtitle untuk Pemahaman Makna Kata pada Anak Tunarungu
Development of Animated Video Media with Subtitles for Understanding The Meaning of Words in Deaf Children
Anak tunarungu memiliki hambatan dalam memahami makna kata, sehingga diperlukan media visual berupa video animasi bersubtitle. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan pengembangan media video animasi bersubtitle untuk pemahaman makna kata pada anak tunarungu. Metode penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE yang hanya diterapkan dalam 4 tahap, yaitu analysis, design, development, dan implementation. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket hasil uji validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan uji pengguna dari tanggapan peserta didik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rumus skala likert dan dikonversi dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh 71,8%, validasi ahli media memperoleh 82,1%, dan hasil tanggapan peserta didik memperoleh 87,1%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk pengembangan media video animasi bersubtitle untuk pemahaman makna kata pada anak tunarungu layak digunakan.
Deaf children have obstacles in understanding the meaning of words, so visual media is needed in the form of animated videos with subtitles. This study aims to test the feasibility of development of animated video media with subtitles for understanding the meaning of words in deaf children. The research and development method uses the ADDIE model which is only applied in 4 stages, namely analysis, design, development, and implementation. Collecting data using a questionnaire of the results of the validation test op material experts, media experts, and user tests from student responses. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative with likert scale formula and converted in percentage form. The results of material expert validation obtained 71,8%, media expert validation obtained 82,1%, and the results op student responses obtained 87,1%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the development product of animated video media with subtitles for understanding the meaning of words in deaf children is feasible to use.
