Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi full day school di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Lamongan terhadap karakter siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi dengan bentuk kausal. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lamongan dan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lamongan Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 255 siswa dari populasi berjumlah 700 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, studi kepustakaan, dan angket dengan menggunakan skala likert. Uji validitas Instrumen menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment sedangkan uji reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan rumus alpha cronbach. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana menggunakan program SPSS 21.0 for windows.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dan analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa (1) pada variabel full day school (X) nilai thitung = 14,739, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara full day school dan karakter siswa SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Lamongan, (2) implementasi full day school di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Lamongan memiliki pengaruh dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 46,2% terhadap karakter siswa, (3) implementasi full day school di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Lamongan menunjukkan persentase sebesar 95,2% yang berarti dalam kategori baik, sedangkan karakter siswa juga termasuk kategori baik dengan persentase sebesar 95,2%.

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing full day school in the Lamongan District Middle School on the character of students. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a type of research correlation with causal forms. The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lamongan and eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Lamongan. The sample used was 255 students from a population of 700 students. The sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. The technique of collecting data uses interviews, literature studies, and questionnaires using a Likert scale. Instrument validity test uses the product moment correlation formula while the instrument reliability test uses the Cronbach alpha formula. Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis using the SPSS 21.0 for Windows program.
Based on the results of the research that has been done and data analysis, it can be seen that (1) in the full day school (X) variable the value of tcount = 14,739, with a significance value of 0,000 <0,05, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning there is a significant effect day school and the character of the Public Middle School students in Lamongan Regency, (2) the implementation of full day school in Lamongan District Middle School has an influence with the determination coefficient value of 46.2% on the character of students, (3) the implementation of full day school in Lamongan District Middle School shows a percentage of 95.2% which means in the good category, while the character of students is also included in the good category with a percentage of 95.2%.
