THE INFLUENCE OF PRODUCTIVE TEACHERS' PEDAGOGICAL COMPETENCE AND LEARNING MOTIVATION ON THE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF GRADE X, XI, AND XII STUDENTS IN THE AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION ENGINEERING (TPTU) PROGRAM AT SMKN 3 TUBAN
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru produktif dan motivasi belajar terhadap capaian pembelajaran siswa kelas X, XI, dan XII Program Keahlian Teknik Pendingin dan Tata Udara (TPTU) di SMKN 3 Tuban. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan sampel sebanyak 105 siswa melalui teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket skala Likert 1–4 dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kompetensi pedagogik guru produktif tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap capaian pembelajaran siswa, (2) motivasi belajar memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap capaian pembelajaran, dan (3) secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut memberikan kontribusi terhadap capaian pembelajaran siswa. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya motivasi belajar sebagai faktor dominan dalam meningkatkan capaian pembelajaran di SMK.

This study aims to examine the influence of productive teachers’ pedagogical competence and learning motivation on student learning achievement in grades X, XI, and XII of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering (TPTU) program at SMKN 3 Tuban. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 105 students selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire (scale 1–4) and analyzed using SPSS version 22. The results show that: (1) productive teachers’ pedagogical competence does not have a significant effect on student learning achievement, (2) learning motivation has a significant influence on student achievement, and (3) both variables simultaneously contribute to student learning outcomes. These findings highlight the dominant role of learning motivation in enhancing student achievement in vocational high schools.
