Design Build of IoT Based Smart Liquefied Petroleum Gas Leakage Detector with NodeMCU ESP8266 Module

Gas adalah molekul yang tidak terikat, tidak berbentuk, tidak terlihat dan dapat berubah ke cair maupun padat pada suhu tertentu. Gas LPG merupakan faktor yang sering terjadi penyebab kebakaran gas elpiji adalah regulator gas yang tidak terpasang dengan benar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja sistem Rancang Bangun Alat Smart Liquefied Petroleum Gas Leakage Detector Berbasis IoT dengan Modul NodeMCU ESP8266, serta mengetahui respon sensor Rancang Bangun Alat Smart Liquefied Petroleum Gas Leakage Detector Berbasis IoT dengan Modul NodeMCU ESP8266 pada jarak yang berbeda. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan sensor MQ-6, IR flame sensor, solenoid valve, buzzer, dan Internet of Things. Sistem ini menggunakan aplikasi Blynk untuk mengetahui nilai PPM dari sensor gas MQ-6. Sistem ini telah dilakukan pengujian dengan jarak sensor 1 cm sampai 10 cm dan hasilnya jarak maksimum terdeteksi adalah 7 cm. Pada pengujian sistem yang telah dilakukan sistem yang dirancang pada penelitian ini telah dapat melakukan pengontrolan dan monitoring dengan baik. Nilai sensor gas LPG mendapat nilai rata-rata gas sebesar 5467 PPM pada jarak 1 cm, lalu nilai rata-rata gas 1052.6 PPM pada jarak 2 cm, nilai rata-rata gas 798 PPM pada jarak 3 cm, nilai rata-rata gas 557.4 PPM pada jarak 4 cm, nilai rata-rata gas 489 PPM pada jarak 5 cm. nilai rata-rata gas 387.2 PPM pada jarak 6 cm, nilai rata-rata gas 231.4 PPM pada jarak 7 cm, nilai rata-rata gas 152.4 PPM pada jarak 8 cm, nilai rata-rata gas 141.8 PPM pada jarak 9 cm, dan nilai rata-rata gas 121.6 PPM pada jarak 10 cm.
