IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM ADIWIYATA DALAM MEMBANGUN KARAKTER SISWA PEDULI LINGKUNGAN DI SDN MADE I NO. 475 SURABAYA
ADIWIYATA PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION IN BUILDING THE CHARACTER OF STUDENTS CARE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AT SDN MADE I NO. 475 SURABAYA
Pelaksanaan program adiwiyata dilaksanakan sejak dini untuk proses pembiasaan terhadap anak-anak terkait dengan karakter peduli lingkungan. Karakter peduli lingkungan ini sangat penting dikarenakan agar permasalahan lingkungan hidup yang terjadi tidak semakin banyak dan menimbulkan kerusakan pada bumi. Dengan adanya implementasi program adiwiyata yang dilaksanakan di sekolah memberikan pembelajaran kepada peserta didik untuk dapat memiliki karakter peduli lingkungan dari sekolah adiwiyata. Dari pelaksanaan program adiwiyata ini juga dapat berguna bagi peserta didik dalam membangun karakter peduli lingkungan dalam dirinya.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut (1) Mengetahui proses implementasi program adiwiyata di SDN Made I No. 475 Surabaya, (2) Mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter lingkungan melalui program-program inti adiwiyata di SDN Made I No 475 Surabaya dan (3) Mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dengan solusinya dalam pelaksanaan program adiwiyata di SDN Made I No. 475 Surabaya.
Untuk mencapai tujuan diatas, penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan pada peneltiian ini meliputi Kepala sekolah, Koordinator Tim Adiwiyata, Anggota Tim Adiwiyata, Guru, Peserta didik, Orang Tua Peserta Didik dan Mitra Kerjasama. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi/kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) proses implementasi program adiwiyata didalamnya terdapat persiapan dokumen-dokumen dan pembentukan tim adiwiyata dengan proses pelaksanaan yang dilaksanakan untuk mendapatkan penghargaan sebagai sekolah adiwiyata dengan adanya kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak dan pengelolaan sarana prasarana pendukung sekolah untuk keberhasilan pelaksanaan program adiwiyata tersebut. (2) Implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui program-program inti adiwiyata dapat melalui pelaksanaan program Green House, Kebun Hidroponik, Kolam Lele, Kebun Toga, dan Komposter yang bisa membangun karakter peduli lingkungan bahkan karakter kewirausahaan juga ada dari pelaksanaan program tersebut. (3) faktor pendukung dari pelaksanaan program adiwiyata yaitu terdapat pada sarpras yang baik dan memadai, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya salah satunya yaitu learning lost dikarenakan pandemi covid dan solusinya dapat melakukan banyak pembiasaan lagi, menggencarkan lagi aksi lingkungan, memohon dukungan orang tua dan meningkatkan kekompakan antara satu sama lain.
The implementation of the Adiwiyata program was carried out from an early age for the habituation process for children related to the character of caring for the environment. The character of caring for the environment is very important because so that environmental problems do not occur more and cause damage to the earth. With the implementation of the Adiwiyata program carried out in schools, it provides learning to students to be able to have the character of caring for the environment from Adiwiyata schools. From the implementation of the Adiwiyata program, it can also be useful for students in building the character of caring for the environment in themselves.
The purpose of this research are as follows (1) Knowing the implementation process of the adiwiyata program at SDN Made I No. 475 Surabaya, (2) Knowing the implementation of environmental character education through core adiwiyata programs at SDN Made I No 475 Surabaya and (3) Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors with their solutions in implementing the adiwiyata program at SDN Made I No. 475 Surabaya.
To reach the purposes above, research using qualitative research methods. The method of collecting data in this study is using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Informants in this study included school principals, Adiwiyata Team Coordinators, Adiwiyata Team Members, Teachers, Students, Parents of Students and Cooperation Partners. The data analysis technique used is data condensation, data presentation and verification/conclusion.
The results of this study indicate that, (1) the process of implementing the adiwiyata program includes the preparation of documents and the formation of the adiwiyata team with the implementation process carried out to get an award as an adiwiyata school by collaborating with various parties and managing school supporting infrastructure for the successful implementation of the adiwiyata program. (2) The implementation of character education through the core adiwiyata programs can be through the implementation of the Green House, Hydroponic Garden, Catfish Pond, Toga Garden, and Composter programs which can build environmental care and even entrepreneurial character from the implementation of the program. (3) the supporting factors for the implementation of the adiwiyata program are good and adequate infrastructure, while one of the inhibiting factors is learning lost due to the covid pandemic and the solution can be to do a lot of habituation again, intensify environmental actions, ask for parental support and increase the cohesiveness between one another.
