The effectiveness of the use of Edmodo and Schoology-based e-learning to improve student learning outcomes (literature study)
Salah satu cara meningkatkan mutu, relevansi dan daya saing dalam sistem pembelajaran adalah pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran e-learning berbasis edmodo dan schoology. Tujuan dari studi literatur ini: (1) mengetahui penggunaan media e-learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa; (2) mengetahui media e-learning yang paling efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa. Studi literatur ini diperoleh dari artikel penelitian ilmiah dari rentang tahun 2015-2020 dengan menggunakan Google Schoolar dengan kata kunci edmodo dan schoology. Setelah dilakukan identification, screening, dan egibility dari 151 artikel terdapat 8 artikel yang sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Berdasarkan kajian literatur dan hasil penelitian yang relevan diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) penggunaan media e-learning mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa dengan rerata skor 81,35 dengan nilai terendah 71,25 dan nilai tertinggi 91,454; (2) penggunaan media e- learning berbasis schoology lebih efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa dibandingkan edmodo dengan rerata skor 83,68 dengan nilai terendah 75,97 dan tertinggi 91,454.

To improve quality, relevance and competitiveness in learning systems is the use of information and communication technology through the use of edmodo and schoology-based e- learning learning media. The objectives of this literature study are: ((1) knowing the use of e- learning media in improving student cognitive learning outcomes; (2) find out the most effective e- learning media to improve student cognitive learning outcomes. This literature study was obtained from scientific research articles from 2015-2020 using Google Schoolar with the keywords edmodo and schoology. After identification, screening, and egibility of 151 articles, there were 8 articles that fit the research objectives. Based on the literature review and relevant research results, it can be concluded that: (1) the use of e-learning media can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students with an average score of 81.35 with the lowest value of 71.25 and the highest value of 91.454; (2) the use of schoology-based e-learning media is more effective in improving student cognitive learning outcomes than edmodo with an average score of 83.68 with the lowest score of 75.97 and the highest of 91.454.
