PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO ANIMASI UNTUK KETERAMPILAN MENYIMAK CERITA SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR
THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANIMATED VIDEO MEDIA FOR THE SKILLS OF LISTENING OF STORY FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil obervasi saat melakukan PLP pada suatu sekolah dasar. Adapaun hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa media untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih kurang variatif terutama yang berhubungan dengan keterampilan menyimak siswa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian pengembangan media video animasi untuk membantu siswa dalam pembelajaran menyimak cerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan proses pengembangan media video animasi untuk keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa kelas IV SD dan untuk mengetahui kualitas media dari segi kepraktisan, kevalidan dan keefektifan media. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrumen Pengumpulan data berupa lembar angket, hasil tes siswa dan lembar validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan melalui tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Adapaun kepraktisan media menunjukan bahwa hasil angket respon guru memperoleh skor sebesar 100 dan hasil angket respon siswa memperoleh skor sebesar 93,05. Kevalidan media menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh skor sebesar 91,67 dan hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh skor sebesar 90,78. Keefektifan media video animasi memperoleh skor sebesar 85,5. Berdasarkan hasil kepraktisan, kevalidan dan keefektifan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepraktisan media termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis, kevalidan media dan materi termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid, keefektifan media termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik.

This study was motivated by the results of observations when doing PLP (Program Latihan Profesi) in an Elementary school. The results of observations show that the media for Indonesian subjects is still less varied, especially those related to students' listening skills. Based on this, research was carried out on the development of animation video media to help students in learning stories skills.This study purposes to explain the process of developing animation video as teaching and learning media for listening stories skills of four graders elementary school students and to know the quality of the media in terms of practicality,validity and effectiveness. Kind of this study is development research using the ADDIE development model. Data collection instruments are questionnaire, test and validation sheet. The result shows that the development process went through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The practicality of the media shows that the result of teachers’ questionnaire get score 100 and the result of students’ questionnaire get score 93, 05. The validity of the media shows that the validation results of the material experts get score 91.67 and the validation results of the media experts get score 90,769. The effectiveness of animation video media get an average students’ score 85.5. Based on the particity, the validity and the efeectivity, it can conclude that the practicality of the media is included in the very practical category, the validity of the media is included in the very valid category and the effectiveness of the media is included in the very good category.
