Kawasan wisata Goa Selomangleng terletak di kaki Gunung Klotok, serta di kaki bukit Maskumambang. Tepatnya berada di Dusun Boro, Kelurahan Pojok, Kecamatan Mojoroto,Kota Kediri, Jawa Timur, kurang lebih 3 km dari pusat Kota Kediri. Kawasan Goa Selomangleng memiliki beberapa objek wisata diantaranya meliputi situs Goa Selomangleng, Museum Airlangga, pendakian makam Boncolono, dan pemandian Selomangleng. Berdasarkan riset awal yang dilakukan dengan menemui dinas terkait, kawasan wisata Goa Selomangleng belum memiliki memiliki media promosi yang mencakup ke empat objek wisata dalam satu kesatuan, untuk mencapai citra yang diinginkan sebagai kawasan unggulan dan mempertahankan juga menambah pengunjung dibutuhkan media promosi yang dapat membantu Kawasan Wisata Goa Selomangleng lebih dikenal dan sebagai upaya untuk mencapai tujuan yakni, memperkuat dan mempertahankan kawasan wisata ini sebagai kawasan wisata Unggulan Kota Kediri.
Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan teknik SWOT (Strenght, Oppotunities, Weakness, Threats) dan USP (Unique Selling Proposition). Konsep perancangan karya desain periklanan untuk promosi wisata Goa Selomangleng bertemakan “Wisata Keluarga”. Mulai tahapan desain thumbnail, rought, Tight tissue, selanjutnya tahapan validasi. Desain billboard, brosur, dan poster mengalami perbaikan sampai tahap finally art. setelah melalui tahapan ini desain siap untuk diterapkan dan diprosuksi.

The Goa Selomangleng tourist area is located at the foot of Mount Klotok, as well as at the foot of the Maskumambang hill. Precisely located in the Hamlet of Boro, Pojok Village, Mojoroto District, Kediri City, East Java, approximately 3 km from the center of Kediri City. The Selomangleng Goa area has several attractions including the Selomangleng Goa site, the Airlangga Museum, Boncolono tomb climbing, and the Selomangleng baths. Based on preliminary research conducted by meeting the relevant agencies, the tourism area of Goa Selomangleng does not yet have a promotional media that includes the four attractions in one unit, to achieve the desired image as a superior area and maintain also increase the number of visitors needed promotional media that can help the Tourism Area Goa Selomangleng is better known and as an effort to achieve the goal that is, strengthen and maintain this tourist area as a superior tourist area of the City of Kediri.

The design of billboard, brochures, and posters has improved to a finnaly art stage. After going through this stage the design is readyto be applied and produced.
