This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and
effective problem-based Fraction learning tool to increase the creativity of
2nd-grade elementary school students. The learning device development model
used in this study is the Plomp model, which includes five stages, namely: (1)
Initial investigation, (2) Design, (3) Realization/Construction, (4) Test,
evaluation, and revision, and (5) Implementation.
The learning materials trial was carried out at SDN
Kedungdoro II/307 Surabaya for the 2021/2022 academic year. The research
subjects were nine students in grade 2A elementary school and nine in grade 2B.
This research produces valid, practical, and effective
learning materials to increase the creativity of grade 2 students. Valid is
proven from the results of validation during guidance with supervisors and
learning materials have been improved based on revision suggestions from
supervisors. The supervisors stated that the learning materials, as a result of
this development was feasible and valid with minor revisions. Practically, it
is proven that the activities in the Lesson Plan (RPP) are carried out well
because student activities follow the activities designed in the RPP. The
results of the observer's assessment of the implementation of the lesson plans
and student activities were in the "excellent" category. Effectively
proven from positive student responses to learning and student creativity has
increased. Student responses were in the "very strong" category, and
from the Shapiro Wilk and N Gain tests on the pretest and posttest scores of
students showed an increase in student creativity in the "high"
category.
