PENERAPAN E-MODUL IPA BERBASIS INKUIRI TERBIMBING DENGAN STRATEGI FLIPPED CLASSROOM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA SMP
THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SCIENCE E-MODULE BASED ON GUIDED INQUIRY WITH THE FLIPPED CLASSROOM STRATEGY TO IMPROVE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS’
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan E-modul IPA berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dengan strategi flipped classroom terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada satu kelompok saja tanpa kelompok pembanding. Penelitian ini diujicobakan terbatas pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Gresik yang berjumlah 30 siswa, yang terdiri dari 15 siswa dan 15 siswi. Instrumen penelitian ini teeridiri dari tes (Pretest-Posttest), observasi (lembar aktivitas siswa), dan survei (angket respons siswa). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tertulis, observasi, dan survei. Data hasil tes dianalisis dengan menggunakan perhitungan N-Gain diperoleh 0,66 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hasil analisis observasi peningkatan keterampilan proses sains memiliki kategori sangat baik dengan presentase 94,8%. Adapun analisis survei respons pebelajar memiliki presentasi rata-rata 96,7% berkategori sangat baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-modul IPA berbasis inkuri terbimbing dengan strategi Flipped Classroom secara efektif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP.

This study aimed to determine the influence of the implementation of science e-module based on guided inquiry with the flipped classroom strategy to improve junior high school students’ science process skills. The research used is pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest research design to determine the improvement of students' science process skills in one group without any comparison group. This research is limited to class VIII students at SMP Gresik, with total 30 students that consist of 15 males and 15 females. The research instruments used are tests (pretest-posttest), observation (students’ activity sheets), and survey (students’ response questionnaire). The data collection techniques used are written, observation, and survey methods. The result of the tests are analyzed by using the N-Gain calculation, obtained 0,66 which is included in the medium category. The result of the observational analysis towards the improvement of science process skills have a very good category with a percentage of 94,8%. Meanwhile, the student response survey analysis has an average presentation of 96,7% in the very good category. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of science e-module based on guided inquiry with the flipped classroom strategy can effectively improve junior high school students’ science process skills.
