Study Of The Form and Meaning Of Reyog Tulungagung Dance Makeup
Reyog Tulungagung merupakan tarian khas dari tulungagung yang saat ini menjadi salah satu ikon di kabupaten Tulungagung, tarian ini berfungsi untuk tarian selamat datang dimana menyambut tamu penting di Tulungagung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Bentuk dan makna tata rias wajah serta penataan rambut (2) Bentuk dan makna busana (3) Bentuk dan makna aksesoris tari Reyog Tulungagung. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian tata rias tari Reyog Tulungagung adalah: (1) Bedak yang di gunakan menyesuaikan warna kulit penari, eyeshadow yang digunakan warna coklat, merah dan yang hitam berarti kekuatan. Alis dibentuk mendatar berwarna hitam agar terlihat tegas serta lipstick berwarna merah. Penataan rambut penari hanya di urai karena untuk membuat penari lebih gagah seperti seorang prajurit. (2) busana penari meliputi baju berwarna putih, jarik berwarna merah dengan motif bunga khas daerah Tulungagung yang melambangkan kegembiraan, sampur gendong untuk membawa dhodhog/kendang, celana berwarna hitam, stagen dan kaos kaki putih. (3) Aksesoris yang dipakai penari meliputi iket, iker/guling, sumping, klat bahu, sempyok, deker, kalung, sabuk, uncal, boro-boro samir, keris, gongseng, binggel dan yang paling utama yakni dhodhog/kendang. Ciri khas aksesorisnya yaitu iket yang berbentuk tanduk kerbau dan iker/guling berwarna merah putih dengan burung garuda dimana keduanya merupakan simbol negara Indonesia. Tata rias dan busana tarian ini selaras dengan gerakan tari Reyog Tulungagung.

Reyog Tulungagung is a typical dance from Tulungagung which is currently one of the icons in Tulungagung, this dance serves as a welcome dance for an important guests in Tulungagung. This study aims to determine: (1) the shape and meaning of make-up and hair styling (2) the shape and meaning of clothing (3) the shape and meaning accessories of the Reyog Tulungagung dance. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation studies. The results of the research on Reyog Tulungagung dance makeup are: (1) The powder used adjusts the dancer's skin color, the eyeshadow used is brown, red and black. The eyebrows shaped is horizontally in black to make it look firm and the lipstick is red. The hair styling of the dancer is only explained because it makes the dancer more manly like a soldier. (2) the dancer's clothing is white shirt, red jarik with floral motifs typical of the Tulungagung area which symbolizes joy, sampur carrying to carry dhodhog/kendang, black pants, stagen and white socks . (3) The accessories used by dancers include iket, iker/guling, sumping, klat bahu, sempyok, deker, necklace, belt, uncal, boro-boro samir, keris, gongseng, binggel and most importantly dhodhog/kendang. The characteristics of the accessories are the iket by the meaning of a buffalo horn and the red and white iker/guling with the eagle, which is both of there are symbols of the Indonesian state. The makeup and clothing are in harmony with the movements of this dance.
