ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN MULTI REPRESENTASI PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATERI ELASTISITAS DAN HUKUM HOOKE
THE ANALYSIS OF MULTI REPRESENTATION ABILITY OF STUDENTS ON ELASTICITY THEORY AND HOOKE LAWS
Abstrak
Kemampuan peserta didik dalam menginterpretasikan suatu konsep fisika dapat diketahui dengan melalui kemampuan multi representasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan multi representasi peserta didik pada materi elastisitas dan hukum Hooke. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif menggunakan instrumen soal multirepresentasi dengan bentuk representasi verbal, visual, matematis, dan simbolik. Instrumen berupa soal esai sebanyak 6 butir soal, instrumen telah divalidasi oleh 2 dosen fisika Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Responden penelitian yaitu 23 peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Blitar sebanyak 1 kelas tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil penelitian: a) instrumen penelitian berupa soal multirepresentasi valid dengan nilai 0,87 kategori sangat valid; b) tidak semua kemampuan multi representasi dikuasai dengan baik oleh peserta didik. Data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan multi representasi peserta didik yang kurang adalah kemampuan representasi verbal dengan persentase 65,21%, sedangkan kemampuan representasi yang paling tinggi yaitu representasi matematis dan simbol dengan persentase 92,75%%, dan persentase kemampuan representasi visual peserta didik yaitu sebesar 89,85%.

Abstract
The ability of students to interpret a physics concept can be known by using a multi-representation test instrument. This research aims to analyze the multi-representation ability of students on elasticity and Hooke's law. This research is a descriptive exploratory study using a multi-representation question instrument in the form of verbal, visual, mathematical, and symbolic representations. The instrument is in the form of an essay with 6 items, the instrument has been validated by 2 physics lecturers at the Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Research respondents were 23 students of class XI SMA Negeri 3 Blitar as many as 1 class for the 2020/2021 school year Based on the results of the analysis, the research results obtained: a) the research instrument in the form of a valid multi-representation question with the value 0,87 category very valid; b) not all multi-representation abilities were mastered by students. The data showed that the students' lack of multi-representation ability was verbal representation ability with a percentage of 65.21%, while the highest representation ability was mathematical representation and symbols with a percentage of 92.75%, and the percentage of students' visual representation ability amounted to 89.85%.
