Pengaruh Financial Compensation terhadap Employee Performance pada Gen Z di PT X Gresik
The Effect of Financial Compensation on Employee Performance among Generation Z Employees at PT X Gresik
This study aimed to determine the effect of financial compensation on employee performance among Generation Z employees at PT X Gresik. The study employed a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression design involving 40 Generation Z employees selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through online questionnaires using the Pay Satisfaction Questionnaire (PSQ) and the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ), and were subsequently analyzed using JASP software. The results indicated that financial compensation did not have a significant effect on employee performance among Generation Z employees at PT X Gresik (p > 0.05). These findings suggest that employee performance among Generation Z employees is influenced more by factors other than financial compensation. Future researchers are encouraged to involve other generations, such as Generation Y or Millennials, to obtain a broader understanding of the relationship between these two variables.
