PENERAPAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA KOMPETENSI RIAS WAJAH FOTO BERWARNA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI JURUSAN KECANTIKAN DI SMK NEGERI 8 SURABAYA
APPLICATION OF PROBLEM BASED LEARNING ON COLOR PHOTO MAKEUP COMPETENCY TO IMPROVE THE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF STUDENTS OF GRADE XI IN BEAUTY DEPARTMENT AT STATE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL 8 SURABAYA
Pembelajaran memiliki peranan penting dalam menentukan hasil belajar siswa, terutama di SMK yang menuntut penguasaan keahlian. Pada jurusan Tata Kecantikan, kompetensi Rias Wajah Foto Berwarna membutuhkan pemahaman teori anatomi dan keterampilan praktik. Model Problem Based Learning dipilih karena dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, kerja kelompok, dan keterampilan interpersonal siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan sintaks PBL, hasil belajar siswa, dan respon peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pre-experimental dengan one grup pretest-posttest design. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar observasi, tes kognitif dan psikomotorik, serta angket. Hasil menunjukkan keterlaksanaan sintaks PBL tergolong sangat baik dengan rata-rata 3,84. Hasil belajar kognitif terdapat peningkatan rata-rata yang signifikan dari 65 menjadi 84 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar psikomotor menunjukkan 3 siswa kategori baik dan 21 siswa kategori sangat baik. Respon siswa memperoleh persentase 91% dengan kategori sangat baik. kesimpulannya, penerapan PBL efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran rias wajah foto berwarna.

Learning plays an important role in determining student learning outcomes, especially in vocational high schools that require mastery of skills. In the Beauty Department, the Color Photo Makeup competency requires an understanding of anatomical theory and practical skills. The Problem Based Learning model was chosen because it can improve students' understanding, group work, and interpersonal skills. This study aims to determine the implementation of PBL syntax, student learning outcomes, and student responses. This study used a pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The research instruments consisted of observation sheets, cognitive and psychomotor tests, and questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of PBL syntax was classified as very good with an average of 3.84. Cognitive learning outcomes showed a significant increase in average from 65 to 84 with a very good category. Psychomotor learning outcomes showed 3 students in the good category and 21 students in the very good category. Student responses obtained a percentage of 91% with a very good category. In conclusion, the implementation of PBL is effective in improving student learning outcomes and motivation in learning color photo makeup.
